Sinossi Synopsis
Una riflessione visuale e sonora che indaga sul binomio “tempo-paesaggio” e “tempometapaesaggio”.
Il film è stato girato sulle montagne spagnole del Caurel. Le immagini
in bianco e nero sono commentate soltanto dai rumori della montagna: il lavoro,
la natura, la pioggia e il ritorno del sereno. Rumori che possono essere definiti “il silenzio
della montagna”. Un silenzio che amplifica la bellezza e la poesia dei boschi illuminati
dal primo raggio di sole o del crepitare delle castagne sul fuoco. Un racconto
per immagini, dove la montagna è mostrata in tutta la sua forza evocativa.
A visual and auditory reflection that investigates “time passage” and “time meta-passage”.
The film was shot in the Spanish mountains of the Caurel. The black and white
imagery is accompanied by the sounds of the mountain: work, nature, rain, and the
calm following a storm. These sounds can be defined as the silence of the mountain,
a silence that amplifies the poetic beauty of the illuminated forests at the first ray of
morning sun or the crackling of chestnuts on an open fire. These images tell a story
of the mountain in all its evocative power.
Biografia Biography
Chus Domínguez è nato a León, in Spagna,
nel 1967. Laureato in Biologia è regista,
operatore e montatore di documentari
etnografici e d’arte. È tra i fondatori del
collettivo d’artisti “Piensan Las Manos”. Il
suo cortometraggio d’esordio, O prezo da
dote, primo di una trilogia dedicata alla vita
in Galizia, ha ricevuto numerosi premi
internazionali.
Chus Domínguez was born in León, Spain
in 1967. He graduated in biology and
works as a director, cameraman and set
designer of artistic and ethonographic documentaries.
He is among the founders of
the artists' collective “Piensan las manos”.
His debut short film, “O prezo da dote” the
first in a trilogy dedicated to life in Galizia,
has received many international awards.
