He graduated from Homer High School in Homer, AK and attended Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT in 1988-1989. He went to Flathead Valley Community College in Kalispell, MT for welding, graduating in 1990, and attended Oregon State University for kilns and leadership courses, graduating in 2006. He has been married to his wife, Angela, for nine years and has three children. In his spare time, he loves sports and has coached football, basketball and softball. He also enjoys pottery. WEST PLAINS, MO–Brent Ball, co-owner of West Plains Resaw Systems, located here, announced that his company is celebrating its 25th year as a manufacturer of equipment for sawmills, pallet plants, flooring manufacturers, lumber remanufacturers and other types of wood product manufacturers. In addition, company owners Brent, Bill and Brandon Brent Ball Ball announced recent installations of their company’s equipment. At North Country Lumber in Mellen, WI, West Plains installed a 600 Series West Plains Resaw Hydraulics set works with a 12-foot customized return system. North Country also purchased extra roll cases and extra package decks feeding to and away from the system. North Country Lumber’s sawmill facility produces Hard and Soft Maple, Red and White Oak, Basswood, Black and White Ash, Aspen, Cherry, Birdseye Maple, Walnut, White and Yellow Birch and Elm. At J.H. Keeso & Sons Ltd., located in Listowel, ON, West Plains installed a 500 Series West Plains Resaw with a 12- foot capacity return system and extra roll cases and decks to go along with it. The installation has allowed the company to increase production by 37 percent. According to the J.H. Keeso website, the company offers Hardwoods in all grades and thicknesses, in addition to selling chips, bark mulch, sawdust and bagged firewood for campgrounds. At Rocky Mount Hardwoods, located in Ferrum, VA, West Plains Resaw Systems will be installing a 600 Series 18-inch by 18-inch capacity hydraulics set works saw with a 16-foot long capacity return system plus a 70-foot long roll case and transfer deck with a roll case extension for the company’s separator system. West Plains Resaw Systems is a manufacturer of package decks, unscramblers, green chains, conveyor belts, roll cases, chop saws, accumulation decks and linebar optimizers for feeding ripsaws.
