NEWS DEVELOPMENTS U.S. LUMBER TO ACQUIRE ALEXANDRIA MOULDING U.S. LUMBER GROUP LLC, headquartered in Atlanta, GA, has announced that it will acquire Alexandria Moulding, which is based in Alexandria, ON. U.S. LUMBER is a leading two-step distributor of specialty building products in the Eastern and Midwestern United States. Alexandria Moulding is a leading manufacturer and two-step distributor of a full range of mouldings and accessories across all of Canada and the northern United States. BUTCHER BLOCK MANUFACTURER RELOCATES FACILITY John Boos & Co., a manufacturer of Hardwood butcher blocks, countertops and other surfaces for residential and commercial kitchens, recently relocated a portion of its operation across the street to a larger facility in Effingham, IL. According to a press release from the company, the facility will foster growth and allow for customers to visit and see how their products are made.
