in faculty libraries. Library officers were
greatly interested in lectures on professional
ethics, information management, handling
and prevention of conflicts.
I would like to thank all Library officers
for directing their efforts to solve our mutual
problems. I am especially grateful to
those who took part in preparation of projects
and were doing much more work than
was required by official instructions. We
have finished 425 th year of Vilnius University
and we are starting 2005 that will be
435 th year in Vilnius University Library history
and I hope this year will be signified by
new deeds of the Library.
