Er kan geconcludeerd worden dat voor een bestaande grotere kotter van het type GO31 de<br />
toepassing van aardgas in vloeibare vorm (LNG) haalbaar is. Ook voor de GO 31 geldt dat het<br />
benodigde volume voor aardgas onder druk (bij 200 bar) ruim 2,5 maal groter is dan bij LNG.<br />
De beschikbare ruimte aan boord, zowel bovendeks als onderdeks is echter opnieuw beperkt en<br />
maakt de toepassing van aardgas onder druk (CNG) aan boord van de huidige boomkorkotter GO31<br />
onmogelijk .<br />
