Preface
«Norges industri 1958» contains detailed information on employment,
production, use of raw materials, fixed asset formation, stocks etc. for 1958
in industrial establishments with an average number of persons engaged of
at least 6 persons (in some industrial groups at least 3 persons). For the
principal characteristics there is also given data comprising total industry,
where the figures for small establishments are calculated on the basis of a
sample survey.
The publication has been prepared under the supervision of Mr. Otto
Carlson, who has also written the survey.
