A <strong>pesquisa</strong> mundial <strong>de</strong> opinião <strong>acadêmica</strong> que irá impulsionar tanto <strong>os</strong> Times Higher<br />
Education <strong>World</strong> University Rankings, como <strong>os</strong> <strong>World</strong> Reputation Rankings 2014 já foi<br />
lança<strong>da</strong><br />
na sua área.<br />

Thomson Reuters, que fornece tod<strong>os</strong><br />
<strong>os</strong> <strong>da</strong>d<strong>os</strong> <strong>para</strong> <strong>os</strong> rankings do THE,<br />
confirmo o lançamento <strong>da</strong> sua<br />
quarta <strong>pesquisa</strong> anual <strong>de</strong> <strong>reputação</strong><br />
<strong>acadêmica</strong>.<br />
Nas próximas semanas, muit<strong>os</strong><br />
milhares <strong>de</strong> acadêmic<strong>os</strong> <strong>de</strong> todo o<br />
mundo serão convi<strong>da</strong>d<strong>os</strong> a <strong>da</strong>r a sua<br />
opinião especializa<strong>da</strong> sobre ca<strong>da</strong><br />
disciplina, nas melhores universi<strong>da</strong><strong>de</strong>s<br />
To<strong>da</strong>s as pessoas convi<strong>da</strong><strong>da</strong>s a participar na <strong>pesquisa</strong>, que está disponível em 10 idiomas,<br />
são estatisticamente representativas <strong>da</strong> sua região e <strong>da</strong> sua disciplina <strong>acadêmica</strong>. A <strong>pesquisa</strong><br />
não aceita voluntári<strong>os</strong> ou nomeações <strong>de</strong> instituições, <strong>para</strong> evitar <strong>os</strong> <strong>de</strong>svi<strong>os</strong> na am<strong>os</strong>tra.<br />
"Aqueles que são convi<strong>da</strong>d<strong>os</strong> a participar vão representar tanto a sua disciplina como o seu país",<br />
disse Phil Baty, editor d<strong>os</strong> Times Higher Education Rankings. "O que pedim<strong>os</strong> é que as pessoas<br />
se juntem às <strong>de</strong>zenas <strong>de</strong> milhares <strong>de</strong> seus pares e que partilhem <strong>os</strong> seus conheciment<strong>os</strong> e<br />
que <strong>de</strong>em algum do seu tempo <strong>para</strong> n<strong>os</strong> aju<strong>da</strong>r a <strong>de</strong>senvolver este perspicaz e vali<strong>os</strong>o retrato<br />
<strong>da</strong>s universi<strong>da</strong><strong>de</strong>s mais prestigia<strong>da</strong>s do mundo."<br />
A <strong>pesquisa</strong> constitui dois indicadores chave d<strong>os</strong> 13 utilizad<strong>os</strong> <strong>para</strong> criar <strong>os</strong> Times Higher<br />
Education <strong>World</strong> University Rankings, cuja próxima edição será publica<strong>da</strong> em outubro <strong>de</strong> 2013.<br />
Os resultad<strong>os</strong> também são usad<strong>os</strong> isola<strong>da</strong>mente <strong>para</strong> produzir <strong>os</strong> Times Higher Education <strong>World</strong><br />
University Rankings anual, publicad<strong>os</strong> em março.<br />
