Munidos de baixo eléctrico, bateria e... concertina, fazem do Garage Folk o seu lema de Existência. Numa realidade social minada por múltiplas sub-culturas e influências, praticam um folk instrumental eclético virado para o futuro, arranhando o Jazz e fazendo festinhas ao Punk mais grosseiro. 11 Março Concerto com “Os Deambulando” A banda nasceu num barracão convertido em estúdio, lá para os lados de Tomar, quando certo dia um grupo de músicos se juntou para gravar versões de temas de Paulo de Carvalho, Fausto e José Afonso. With an electric bass, drums and… a concertina, their life motto is Garage Folk. A performance proposta aborda variados temas procurando sempre uma ligação a alguém do panorama nacional seja do jet7 seja da música. Procura surpreender o público com observações surreais da vida quotidiana. Com: Eduardo Ramos, Fábio Carvalho e Marco Rebelo 8 Março, 16h00 Trebaruna “Carnival” Espectáculo de dança-fusão oriental. 11 e 12 Março, 21h30 “Brilharetes” de Antonio Tarantino pelos Artistas Unidos – Teatro Espectáculo de João de Brito e Tiago Nogueira As personagens são duas, mais uma terceira que não fala, que talvez se veja ou talvez não, que é, em todos os sentidos, uma projecção Mas não pode faltar, mais uma vez, o Ausente que, neste Godot dos pobres – dois miseráveis sentados num banco, debaixo da neve, à espera – , é o director de serviço do hospital, que saca dos «comerciantes que têm um cagaço medonho de morrer e desempocham que nem banqueiros», aquele a quem vão extorquir com uma história triste, segundo “a dica” de Cavagna, uma quantia proporcional à sua má consciência. 20 ESPAÇOS CULTURAIS |CULTURAL CENTRE 5th March, at 10.00 p.m. “2 bits of comedy” Stand up Comedy Humour pieces sprinkled with sarcasm. The performance touches on several topics, always related someone of the national panorama, either from the jet set or the music world. The show tries to surprise the audience with surrealistic observations of daily life. 8th March, at 4.00 p.m. Trebaruna “Mardi Gras” Oriental fusion dance performance 11th and 12th March “Brilharetes” by Antonio Tarantino, by Artistas Unidos – Teatro Performance by João de Brito and Tiago Nogueira There are two characters, plus another one that does not talk, that may or may not be seen, and that is, for all purposes, a projection. But there is a character that cannot fail to exist: the Absent party who, in these poor men’s Godot – two wretched men sitting on a bench, under the snow, waiting, – is the hospital director who extracts money from “business men who are scared stiff of dying and disburse like bankers,” and out of whom, following Cavagna’s advice, they, with a sad story, are going to extort an amount that is proportional to his bad conscience
