Index Base December 2001 = 100
The annual average rate compares the average index of one year with the average index of
the previous year. The annual average rate verified in December each year is considered
the inflation rate for that year.
The NSD collects prices each month in Dili and quarterly in some other districts.

Remarks: These are preliminary estimates of the individual consumption of households, according to COICOP (Classification of the
Individual Consumption by Purpose), compiled by the National Statistics Directorate in the framework of the National Accounts
project in progress. Estimates based on: i) the results of the TLSLS 2007 (Timor‐Leste Survey on Living Standards); ii) imports
statistics converted to COICOP; iii) other sources of primary data. These estimates are subject to revision
