O CÉU DA REGIÃO DE COIMBRA / COIMBRA REGION SKY

No cabeço do Monte Redondo, a 968 metros de altitude, encontra-se
um posto de vigia com uma ampla vista sobre a paisagem envolvente e
com um teto repleto de estrelas. É mais um lugar perfeito para se passar
uma noite contemplando o cosmos. Na imagem, por cima da torre de
vigia, encontra-se a constelação de Cisne, presente no meio do braço
da Via Láctea, onde existem algumas nebulosas de emissão onde se formam
novas estrelas.

At the top of Monte Redondo, 968 meters above sea level, there is a
lookout post with a wide view of the surrounding landscape and a roof
full of stars. It is another perfect place to spend an evening contemplating
the cosmos. In the image, above the watchtower, there is the Swan
constellation, present in the middle of the Milky Way arm, where there
are some emission nebulae where new stars are formed.
