Ecocardiografia a fost metoda <strong>de</strong> diagnostic a trombozelor intracardiace, cea transesofagiană fiind metoda <strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong>pistare a trombozelor cu sediul în atriul stâng şi auriculul stâng. 5. Sediul predominant al trombozei a fost auriculul stâng, la 50% dintre pacienţi, urmată <strong>de</strong> tromboza în ventricului stâng (39,3%). Doar 4 pacienţi au prezentat tromboză <strong>de</strong> cord drept, ceea ce a făcut neconclu<strong>de</strong>ntă analiza localizării drepte în lotul studiat. 6.
