international civil aviation organization to preside over the high level aviation<br />
safety conference (hlsc), which was held march 26-april 1, 2010 in montreal, canada.<br />

his conference is the main reference point<br />
in developing the International Civil Aviation<br />
Organization’s (ICAO) strategic activity in the<br />
field of air safety for the following years, as results<br />
of the meeting will determine a re-adjustment<br />
of priorities for 2011-2013.<br />
Taking presidency of the High level safety conference<br />
stands as international recognition of the important<br />
measures and initiatives proposed in flight safety by<br />
Romania’s Minister of Transports and Infrastructure, Radu<br />
Berceanu, a trained aviation engineer. The conference led<br />
by the Romanian minister of transports was attended<br />
by over 600 representatives from 150 countries.<br />

ceastă conferinţă reprezintă punctul de reper în elaborarea<br />
activităţii strategice a Organizaţiei Aviaţiei Civile<br />
Internaţionale (OACI) în domeniul siguranţei aeronautice<br />
pentru următorii ani, rezultatele acestei reuniuni urmând să<br />
determine reajustarea priorităţilor pentru perioada 2011 – 2013.<br />
Asumarea preşedinţiei Conferinţei la nivel înalt privind<br />
siguranţa aviaţiei reprezintă o recunoaştere internaţională<br />
a importanţei măsurilor luate şi a iniţiativelor propuse<br />
în domeniul siguranţei zborurilor de către ministrul român<br />
al Transporturilor şi Infrastructurii, Radu Berceanu,<br />
de profesie inginer de aviaţie. La conferinţa condusă de<br />
ministrul român al transporturilor, au participat<br />
peste 600 de reprezentanţi din 150 de state.<br />
