Masson şi colab.(1989) au utilizat liniile diploi<strong>de</strong> transformate prin electroporare <strong>pentru</strong> a manifestarezistenţă la antibiotice, în selecţia ulterioară a hibrizilor somatici intraspecifici.Electroporarea poate fi, <strong>de</strong> aselnenea, utilizată în stimularea transformării protoplastelor<strong>de</strong> S. dulca,mara, specie cu importanţă farmaceutică, <strong>de</strong> către bacteria A. tumefaciens(Chand şi colab., 1989).Se constată, prin urmare, că prin meto<strong>de</strong>le <strong>de</strong> inginerie a genei sau tehnologiaADN recombinant, aplicate cartofului în ultimii ani, s-au obţinut rezultate foarte bune.S-a <strong>de</strong>monstrat astfel transferul, integrarea şi expresia, inclusiv a unor gene cu importanţăagronomică, în genofondul cartofului cultivat, precum şi menţinereaunora dintre acestecaractere la plantele <strong>de</strong> cartofcultivate în câmp.REFERINŢE BIBLIOGRAFICE1.
