DAY 3 – GLACIER EXPRESS 

FROM CHUR TO BRIG

Arrive in Switzerland; onward rail 

transfer to St. Moritz. This famous 

ski resort certainly has the wow 

factor. Set on a sunny terrace in the 

Engadine valley, above its frozen 

lake, the busy town is full of shops, 

cafés, bars and restaurants. 

DAYS 2 & 3: SKI ST. MORITZ 

With 350 kms of slopes, the ski 

area of St. Moritz is legendary, 

and perfect for intermediate and 

advanced skiers. The Corviglia ski 

area is reached by funicular from 

the centre of town, or take the ski 

bus which stops close to the hotel, 

and is included with your ski pass, 

to Corvatsch. 

DAY 4: GLACIER EXPRESS 

TO ZERMATT 

Spend the day on board the 

world famous Glacier Express 

train for an exhilarating journey to 

Zermatt (approx. 7 hrs). Sit back 

and enjoy your lunch as you take 

in the stunning views. Zermatt 

is of course dominated by the 

Matterhorn and this attractive, 

car-free resort offers much 

entertainment, with atmospheric 

bars, cafés and restaurants, plus 

lots of quaint boutiques and shops. 

DAYS 5, 6 & 7: SKI ZERMATT 

Zermatt is regarded as one of the

A ski pass is your ticket to the slopes, giving 

you access to the ski lift system on that 

mountain. Generally, there are two kinds of 

lift pass – local and area. A local lift pass lets 

you use the lifts in the resort you’re staying 

in, whilst an area lift pass gives you access 

to the other resorts nearby, which are within 

the same or a linked ski area. 

There are three options to choose from which 

covers different parts of the Jungfrau Region. The 

Jungfrau Sportpass covers everywhere whilst the 

Grindelwald-Wengen and Schilthorn-Mürren covers 

only those areas.

The Engelberg-Titlis ski region is surrounded by a breathtaking glacial 

mountain world which makes for a true winter paradise. Engelberg is the most 

popular ski resort in Central Switzerland for visitors as well as locals and for 

good reason, covering 82 kilometres of varying pistes including one of the 

longest runs sets the tone perfectly for advanced skiers. This snowy resort 

also impresses those new to the sport with numerous easy downhill runs on 

the lower slopes of Trübsee, Gerschnialp and Untertrübsee. Over 2000 metres 

of altitude from glacier all the way down to the village makes skiing and 

snowboarding in this area fun for with snowfall guaranteed well into spring.

Known as the Pearl of the Alps, the resort village of Saas-Fee is located near 

the Italian border and is famed for its proximity to mountains more than 4,000 

metres above sea level. You will find over 100 kilometres of ski runs with most 

slopes north-facing and above 2,500 metres, which makes for very reliable 

and light powdery snow. The village maintains an attractive appearance with 

many old buildings and newer-low rise chalets and is family friendly due to it 

being traffic-free.
