Kiviksgraven/Kungagraven (King’s
grave/burial chambers)
Kivik. A Bronze Age grave discovered
in 1748, estimated to be 3000
years old. The largest burial chamber
of its kind in Sweden, it is 75
metres in diameter. Kiviksgraven
and the nearby Ängakåsen burial
site can be visited all year round;
the chambers are open daily from

Werner went to sea as a boy and
this is reflected in his works with

museum)
Ö Vemmerlöv. The museum is dedicated

a remarkable garden filled with
intricately carved stones, many of
which include texts from the bible.
The carvings were done by one

Piratenmuseet (author museum)
Vollsjö, Housed in an old
lengthman's cottage, the museum
is dedicated to one of Sweden’s
most renowned and colourful authors.
The adjacent station where
the author was born was demolished
in the 1970s. The museum,
which is run by the Piraten Society,
arranges temporary exhibitions
every summer as well as maintaining
a permanent exhibition with
