6 Transport on truck
Transport på lastbil
The following paragraphs give recommended transport methods for the various machine
models. All models have specifically installed eyebolts for easy and safe handling. If
the eyebolts are missing then use the recommended connection points described below.
6.1 Models STR with 2.44 m cylinder diameters.
These models are normally dismantled at the factory into two parts plus several bulk
components. These two parts can be loaded on a TIR. One TIR can transport two
machines. Reassembly time is about 4 hours. Reassembly requires a crane with a
hook at a 5 meter height and able to lift an approximate 2 tons weight. Tarped TIRs are
recommended.
6.2 Models FSN with 2.65 m cylinder diameters.
These models are dismantled at the factory and shipped in two parts like diameter
2.44m models. The cylinder, loaded with its axis horizontal, extends slightly out from
both sides of the TIR.
6.3 Models D - SSI - S with 3.0 - 3.15 - 3.85 m cylinder diameters.
These models can be transported in two ways:
a) in large parts
If the drier is dismantled into large parts then it requires oversize width transport. In this
case reassembly time is about 8 hours (2 workers for 4 hours) and the presence of a
crane with hook at a 7 meter height and able to lift 5 tons. A low-bed TIR can transport
2 driers.
MODELL D, loaded on a truck, occupies 3 meters of width , it is an oversize width
transport but not so expensive.
MODELL SSI has a width of 3.15 meters, to reduce the costs of transport, 2 or 3 panels
are de-assembled in order to re-enter in the width of 3 meters.2 machines can be
carried on a single TIR and 6 hours per 2 people are requested for the assembly. On the
other side it can be dismantled into small parts.
