The most significant peak discharges in the Slaná catchment wererecorded on Štítnik (Plešivec), Slaná (Bretka), Turiec (Gemerská Ves), Rimava (Vlkyňa),where the 50-year flood discharge was exceeded. The 20-year flood discharge wasoverreached on Turiec (Behynce), Slaná (Lenartovce) and Blh (under VN Teplý Vrch).The 10-year flood discharge was exceeded on Slaná (Gemerská Poloma, Rožňava), onRimava (Hnúšťa-Likier, Rimavská Sobota, Sobôtka) on Gortva (Jesenské), Blh (Drienčany,Rimavská Seč). The maximum peak discharges in Bodva River basin reached the values of 5to 10-year flood discharges. In Hornád catchment the most important culminations occurredwith the significance of more than 100-year flood discharge (Hornád – Margecany), 50 to 100-year flood discharge (on Torysa, Olšava, Hornád – Ždaňa). The maximum peak discharge of20-50-year flood discharge value was reached on Hnilec (Stratená), Svinický potok (Svinica),Hornád (Spišská Nová Ves, Košice). In the catchments of Hnilec, Svinka, Branisko, Delňa,Veľká Biela voda 10 to 20-year flood discharges occurred. In Bodrog River basin the peakdischarge of more than 100-year flood discharge was reached on Topľa in Bardejov. The peakdischarges reached the value of 20 to 50-year flood discharge on Laborec (Krásny Brod,Koškovce), Šibská voda (Kľušovská Zábava). The significance of 10-20-year flood dischargereached the culminations on Vydraňka, Radomka, Ladomírka, Chlmec, Topľa and Latorica.The maximum peak discharges in Poprad River basin were recorded on Lipník (ČervenýKláštor), where the culmination reached the significance more than 100-year flood discharge.The significance of 50 to 100-year flood discharge reached the culminations on Ľubica(Kežmarok) and Poprad (Nižné Ružbachy), the significance of 20 to 50-year flood dischargewas reached on Poprad (Chmeľnica), 10 to 20-year flood discharge were reached onSlavkovský potok, Poprad (Kežmarok) and Studený potok (Stará Lesná).The minimum mean daily discharges occurred in most gauging stations in the differentmonths, however mostly in the months February, July, October and November and the valuesvaried between the long-term values Q 270d to Q 364d . The mean daily discharge lower than Q 364dwas recorded on Nitra (Kľačno) and Handlovka (Handlová).NOTE: For the comparison of the values for the year 2010 with the long-term characteristics (Q a , Q ma , Q mda )there were used the long-term characteristics for the reference period 1961-2000.13
