1 通 信 指 令 センター( 消 防 局 )Communication Command Center (Fire Department)
The center has a large multi-monitor set up to simultaneously confirm the situation of
vehicles and images of Oita city in order to arrive at the scene of a fire or emergency
as quickly as possible.

You can receive weather information, evacuation notifications and opened shelter
information on your cell phone or computer.
3 救 命 講 習 Lifesaving Classes
Human education = education of the mind
To an environment where each person’s individuality is

救 急 、 防 災 システムの 最 新 設 備 を 整 備 し、

and how to use an AED in case of emergency.
Disasters come when you least expect it.

Along with training for faculty members to improve their qualities and capabilities,
this center also provides consultation services for children, parents and guardians
and teachers.
2 人 権 啓 発 センター(ヒューレおおいた)Human Rights Enlightenment Center (Hure Oita)
A place to send, learn and exchange information regarding human rights.
Learn about the importance of human rights by simulated experiences of maternity
and elder living.
3 男 女 共 同 参 画 センター Gender Equality Center
Along with viewing informational articles regarding gender equality in society,
there is also counseling and support from activist groups for women.
