Couach Yachts designs 3800 Lounge<br />
explorer yacht<br />
Couach Yachts has released its latest concept, a 40 meter explorer<br />
yacht called the 3800 Lounge. Styled by in-house designer Clement<br />
Carbonne, the concept balances reliability and stability with<br />
luxurious touches and refined interiors.<br />
Accommodation is for up to ten guests including a main-deck owner’s<br />
cabin, as well as three doubles and a twin on the lower deck. The<br />
yard adds that the 3800 Lounge has been designed to be a “yacht<br />
without borders”, referring to both its long-range cruising capabilities<br />
and the seamless transition from interior to exterior spaces.<br />
It has been designed in the style of a seaside villa with floor to ceiling<br />
windows that let natural light flood in. Power would come from a<br />
pair of 1,100hp Scania DI16 engines for a top speed of 17 knots and<br />
a maximum cruising range of 3,900 nautical miles at ten knots.<br />
Marasi homes to be floated<br />
from Finland to UAE<br />
Admares, the firm contracted to deliver Phase 1 of<br />
Dubai Properties’ Marasi Business Bay project<br />
on Dubai Water Canal, has announced plans to<br />
float a selection of buildings from Finland to the UAE.The<br />
Finnish-owned company will design and manufacture<br />
the buildings in Finland before transporting them to the<br />
Emirates by sea.<br />
The firm’s scope of work will include 10 water homes,<br />
two restaurants and a yacht club, all of which will be<br />
floating structures. Dubai Properties’ Marasi Business Bay<br />
development will boast the longest waterfront promenade<br />
in the UAE and the country’s first floating homes with<br />
pedestrian and boat access.<br />
Spaceship-style floating homes<br />
coming to Dubai<br />
Dutch developer New Living on Water (NLW) is planning to unveil its<br />
futuristic-looking floating homes concept in Dubai.The company<br />
has created a striking water home concept based on an "organic"<br />
circular design. It said that it is confident of selling US$50 million<br />
worth of homes within the first year of its Middle East launch at<br />
Cityscape, and of being able to double that within two years. The<br />
company said that it believes the homes will be popular because they<br />
offer luxury, privacy, environmental sustainability and a renewable<br />
energy element.<br />
World's largest sailing yacht<br />
impounded in Gibraltar<br />
T<br />
he world’s largest sailing yacht has been impounded<br />
in Gibraltar over claims that its billionaire Russian<br />
owner owes the shipbuilder €15.3m (£13.3m). The Gibraltar<br />
Port Authority impounded the €400m “Sailing Yacht A”<br />
as it was on its way to be delivered to industrialist<br />
Andrey Melnichenko, following a legal filing from the<br />
German shipbuilder that constructed the futuristiclooking<br />
vessel.<br />

يخوت 3800 الونج اكسبلولر<br />
اأصدرت Couach Yachts أحدث ابتكاراتها مع اليخت البالغ طوله 40 مرتاً واملسمى<br />
ب3800 الوجن. مت تصميمه من قبل املصمم كليمنت كاربون، وهو يوازن بني مفهوم<br />
االستقرار والصالبة مع اللمسات الفاخرة والتصميم الداخلي املبتكر.<br />
يستطيع اليخت أن يستوعب 10 أشخاص يف ذات الوقت، مبا يف ذلك مقصورة للمالك<br />
الرئيسي على سطح السفينة، باالإضافة إىل ثالثة غرف نوم وواحدة يف الطابق السفلي.<br />
كما صمم اليخت 3800 الوجن ليكون "يخت بال حدود"، باالإضافة إىل قدراته بعيدة املدى يف<br />
الإبحار واالنتقال السلس من املساحات الداخلية إىل اخلارجية.<br />
وقد مت تصميمه على طراز فيال على شاطئ البحر مع نوافذ متتد من الأرض إىل السقف<br />
والتي تسمح بدخول الضوء الطبيعي. وتبلغ قوة املحرك hp 1100 وحمركات DI16 مع رعة<br />
تصل إىل 17 عقدة، مع معدل إبحار يصل إىل 3900 ميالً بحرياً لكل عرة عقد.<br />

اأرسي عطاء املرحلة الأوىل من مروع "مراسي اخلليج التجاري" يف<br />
دبي لصالح ركة "أدماريس" الفنلندية، وهو مروع إماراتي يضم<br />
منازل عائمة ومطاعم تطل مبارة على البحر ونادياً حرياً لليخوت.<br />
وتقوم "دبي للعقارات" بتطوير املروع الذي من املتوقع أن يصبح<br />
معلماً بارزاً يف دبي. يضم جمال عمل ركة "أدماريس" أيضاً إنشاء 10<br />
منازل عائمة، ومطعمني ونادٍ حري لليخوت، وجميعها مبانٍ حديثة<br />
عائمة. إذ ستقوم ركة "أدماريس" بتصميم هذه املنشاآت املعمارية<br />
الفريدة وإدارتها وتصنيعها يف فنلندا، لضمان إمكانية حتقيق جودة<br />
عالية من خالل البناء يف منشاأة بناء متخصصة بذلك، على أن يتم<br />
نقلها الحقاً إىل دبي.<br />
منازل عائمة على شكل صاروخ<br />

يهدف املطور الهولندي NLW إىل تطوير خطة مستقبلية ملفهوم املنازل<br />
العائمة يف دبي. وقد أنشاأت الركة مفهوم املنزل املائي على أساس تصميم<br />
دائري. ورحت الركة إنها واثقة حتقيق مبيعات قيمتها 50 مليون دوالر من<br />
هذه املنازل خالل السنة الأوىل من إطالق املروع يف منطقة الرق الأوسط<br />
وحتديداً يف معرض سيتي سكيب، باالإضافة إىل احتمالية مضاعفة هذا الرقم<br />
يف غضون عامني. وتتوقع الركة باأن املنازل املائية ستحظى بشعبية كبرية<br />
الأنها توفر الفخامة واخلصوصية واالستدامة البيئية وعنر الطاقة املتجددة.<br />
احتجاز أكبر يخت شراعي في<br />
العالم بسبب "الديون"<br />
اأكدت السلطات يف ميناء "جبل طارق" أنها احتجزت أكرب يخت رعي<br />
يف العامل يف الإقليم. تاأتي الأنباء وسط تقارير إعالمية باأن مالك سفينة<br />
" سيلينج يخت ايه"، امللياردير الروسي أندري ميلنيشينكو، مدين مباليني<br />
الدوالرات لركة بناء السفن الأملانية " نافال ياردس"؛ وقال مشوؤول بارز<br />
من هيئة املحاكم يف جبل طارق أن اليخت مصادر منذ منتصف شهر<br />
فرباير 2017.<br />

DIBS 2017.<br />
Can you please inform us about the<br />
unique features of DIBS 2017?<br />
On top of the superyacht<br />
manufacturers displaying their latest<br />
luxury vessels, we aim to provide a<br />
holistic experience that will appeal to a<br />
wide variety of people, no matter who<br />
you are or what budget you have.There<br />
will be a range of exhibitors displaying<br />
a variety of products that encompass<br />
every aspect of the marine industry.<br />
From sailing, scuba diving and water<br />
sports organisations to the more niche<br />
products, such as personal submarines<br />
and ‘aquabatic’ submersibles; the show<br />
will have something for everybody.<br />
An entertainment hub on the club’s<br />
private beach has been set up which will<br />
provide food, beverages and live music<br />
amid a serene beach setting, along with<br />
a super car promenade featuring some<br />
of the most luxurious cars from around<br />
the globe. Another prominent feature of<br />
the show will be the various watersports<br />
visitors can participate in and gain<br />
valuable knowledge on the best and<br />
safest ways to get on the water.<br />
For those with a desire to get into<br />
sailing, the show’s hands-on boating<br />
experiences will educate visitors on the<br />
basics of operating a boat, from the safety<br />
equipment to rope work and basic knots.<br />
Visitors can also experience luxury on<br />
different levels with our new exclusive<br />
art gallery which will be featured in the<br />
VIP lounge. On display will be marinethemed<br />
paintings, sculptures and oneoff<br />
pieces from international artists such<br />
as Igor Lobanov, Jaroslav Proek and<br />
Naiel Mulla.<br />

How many companies are participating<br />
and how many boats will be<br />
showcased?<br />
Major superyacht manufacturers<br />
such as Gulf Craft, as well as SYBAss<br />
members: Amels, Baglietto, Benetti,<br />
CRN, Feadship, Fincantieri, Heesen,<br />
Lürssen, Mondomarine and Oceanco<br />
will all be exhibiting their latest<br />
products they have on offer. While<br />
we don’t know the exact details of all<br />
their new vessels, we do know that<br />
the first day of the show will be full of<br />
spectacular new launches.<br />
Big players in the marine equipment<br />
industry such as Brook Marine, Exalto<br />
Emirates, Raymarine, Unichem, Dual<br />
Docker and Amro will be out in full<br />
force, showcasing the latest technology<br />
for in and outboard engines, water<br />
filtration systems and marina services.<br />
Outdoor displays will have some<br />
incredible pieces of machinery on<br />
display and a big feature will be the<br />
Kormaran K7, a uniquely designed<br />
boat capable of transitioning between<br />
different configurations thanks to its<br />
world-first patented transformation<br />
technology. We’re very excited to see<br />
what will be announced this year as<br />

The show will play a key role in not only<br />
providing all those in the industry with<br />
a platform to network and grow their<br />
businesses, but also attract and educate<br />
visitors on the maritime sector”<br />
there have been some incredible reveals<br />
in the previous editions of the show.<br />
Dubai has developed an international<br />
reputation for being a must-visit global<br />
lifestyle destination, how does DIBS<br />
aim to embody this reputation?<br />
Visitors can expect to see a full<br />
marina with a selection of boats<br />
moored in the marina and on display<br />
on the show floor. A variety of boat<br />
types will be on display, ranging from<br />
small to mid-sized to vessels up to the<br />
superyacht classification.<br />
As the largest marine and boating<br />
exhibition in the region, the Dubai<br />
International Boat Show has played<br />
host to some of the most prominent<br />
maritime companies and brands from<br />
around the world and has witnessed<br />
massive developments to the UAE’s<br />
maritime infrastructure.<br />
DIBS 2017 is celebrating its 25th<br />
anniversary; in what ways has the<br />
show witnessed a shift?<br />
We originally launched the show as<br />
the “Watersports & Powerboat Show”<br />
back in 1992 and we’ve come a long<br />
way since then. From an indoor show<br />
with 55 exhibitors and 3,000 visitors<br />
in its first edition, we have grown<br />
substantially. Now held at the Dubai<br />
International Marine Club, last year’s<br />
edition welcomed more 26,000 visitors<br />
from 120 countries.<br />
In the past, we have seen some<br />
amazing projects and the growth of the<br />
show has helped inspire a community<br />
interested in discovery and exploration,<br />
and visitors of the show look to it<br />
as a weather vane for the industry;<br />
to measure the current climate of<br />
regional market.<br />

المعرض إلى ترسيخ هذه السمعة؟<br />
شهدت دولة اإلمارات العربية املتحدة وديب باألخص<br />
تطورات هائلة يف بنيتها التحتية البحرية خال<br />
السنوات ال 25 املاضية والتي واصل خالها معرض<br />
ديب العاملي للقوارب النمو أيضاً ليقف شاهداً عى<br />
صناعة املاحة الرتفيهية املزدهرة يف الدولة.<br />
يحتفل المعرض بمرور 25 عاماً<br />
على انطالقته، فما هي التحوالت<br />
الواضحة التي يشهدها المعرض؟<br />
انطلق املعرض يف البداية كفعالية داخلية عام<br />
1992 تحت اسم "معرض الرياضات البحرية<br />
والقوارب" ليخدم سوقاً متخصصةً ثم تطور<br />
بشكل كبر عى مدار سنوات انعقاده ليصبح<br />
أحد أبرز الفعاليات البحرية عى األجندة<br />
العاملية كمعرض عاملي املستوى يقدم كل ما هو<br />
جديد ومثر يف عامل اليخوت والقوارب والرياضات<br />
البحرية لعشاق الرياضات البحرية واملاحة<br />
الرتفيهية يف املنطقة. كا شهدنا يف املايض انطاق<br />
العديد من املشاريع املثرة وقد ألهم النمو<br />
الذي حققه املعرض مجتمعا شغوفاً باالكتشاف<br />
واالستكشاف؛ فزوار املعرض ينظرون إليه كأداة<br />
لتقييم أداء الصناعة وتحليل وقياس املناخ السائد<br />
يف أسواق املنطقة.<br />

حرصية مع تريكي لوه مرماند، النائب األول<br />
للرئيس لدى مركز ديب التجاري العاملي ما مييز<br />
الدورة الخامسة والعرون عن الدورات السابقة.<br />
هل يمكن أن تخبرنا عن المميزات<br />
الفريدة للمعرض في العام الجاري؟<br />
عى رأس الركات املصنعة لليخوت الفخمة والتي<br />
ستعرض أحدث السفن الفاخرة، نحن نهدف إىل<br />

متنزه للسيارات يضم بعضاً من أكر السيارات<br />
الفاخرة من مختلف أنحاء العامل. هناك ميزة<br />
أخرى بارزة يف املعرض وهي األلعاب الرياضية<br />
املائية والتي ميكن للزوار املشاركة بها واكتساب<br />
املعرفة القيمة عن أفضل الطرق لإلبحار فوق<br />

ولهواة اإلبحار، سيقدم املعرض الخرات العملية<br />
التي سوف تعمل عى تثقيف الزوار حول أساسيات<br />
تشغيل القارب ومعدات السامة واستخدام الحبال<br />

سوف توفر دورة هذا العام من املعرض، الذي تطور<br />
من فعالية محلية مبشاركة 55 عارضاً و3 آالف زائر<br />
يف نسخته األوىل - إىل فعالية عاملية املستوى تستقبل<br />
أ ك ر م ن 26 أل ف زائ ر م ن 120 دولة حول العامل يف<br />
2016، تجارب مثرة ملشرتي القوارب واليخوت متاماً<br />
كا يوفر املعرض تجارب مميزة للزوار املهتمن<br />
بالرياضات البحرية الشيقة.<br />
وسيشهد الحدث إطاق 41 منتجاً جديداً بن<br />
قوارب ويخوت ومعدات ومستلزمات بحرية هذا<br />
العام كا أن هناك تأكيدات عى زيادة اإلطاقات<br />
الجديدة سوف يتم اإلعان عنها خال األسابيع<br />
القادمة وسوف تشهد منطقة املرىس اإلعان عن<br />
اإلطاقات الحرصية وسط مشاركة أكر من 800<br />
رشكة وعامة تجارية الستعراض أحدث التصاميم<br />
والتقنيات البحرية.<br />
ويشارك مصنعي اليخوت الفاخرة الكرى<br />
مثل جلف كرافت، فضاً عن أعضاء SYBAss<br />
مثل أميلس، باغليتو، بينيتي، ،CRN فيدشيب،<br />
فينتشانتيري، هيسن، لورسن، موندومارين<br />
وأوشينكو جميعاً الذين سيقوموا بعرض أحدث<br />
منتجاتهم يف املعرض. يف حن أننا ال نعرف التفاصيل<br />
الدقيقة لجميع السفن الجديدة، نحن نعرف أن<br />
اليوم األول من املعرض سوف يشهد عرضاً كاماً<br />
إلطاق منتجات جديدة ومذهلة.<br />

تهتم دولة الإمارات بقطاع الرياضات البحرية<br />
وأصبح الإماراتيون من أكرث املقبلني عليها حيث<br />
يستمتعون باستخدام قوارب السباق والقوارب<br />
الريعة وقوارب الرفاهية التي تشد انتباه الفئة<br />
الأوىل من املجتمع ومن هنا أخذت الركة شغفها<br />
لتحقيق جناحات باهرة يف هذا القطاع.<br />
حيث شهدت الركة يف العام املاضي ارتفاعاً<br />
يف املبيعات حيث قاربت 157 ماكينة من طراز<br />
ROS ،Inboard ،Outboard وRace. وقمنا بطلب<br />
ماكينة جديدة تسمى115 PRO صنعت يف عام<br />
2015 وستكون معروضة نهاية الشهر احلايل خالل<br />

منذ تاأسيس الركة يف عام 2003 حافظنا على<br />
قائمة العمالء التي ازدادت مع مرور الوقت. ونقوم<br />
بتوفري خدمة ما بعد البيع. كما يقوم فريق خدمة<br />
العمالء يف نهاية كل أسبوع باالتصال مع العميل<br />
لالستفسار عن مدى رضاه عن القارب واخلدمات<br />
املقدمة بشكل عام، حيث جتاوزت نسبة رضا<br />
العمالء لدينا حاجز ال90%.<br />

استراتيجيّتها لمواكبة<br />
تطورات السوق؟<br />
تعتمد إكسرتمي مارين على توفري اخلدمات العامة<br />
للعمالء قبل وبعد البيع، وهي أكرث ما تركز عليه<br />
حالياً. وقامت الركة بتطوير العديد من الأقسام<br />
متعددة اخلدمات. وبدعم من الرئيس التنفيذي<br />
املالك السيد/ حممد جبارة املرر أصبحت الركة<br />
منذ العام 2009 مبثابة مركزاً للخدمات يوفر حلوالً<br />
متنوعة تشمل صيانة للقوارب وخدمات التصميم<br />
والتعديل وصناعة وتركيب الفرش الفاخر والصيانة<br />
الكهربائية باالإضافة إىل إمكانية قطر وسحب<br />
الزوارق من خالل أسطول السيارات اخلاص الذي<br />
متتلكه الركة لهذا الغرض.<br />
كما تقوم الركة بتقدمي الدعم الفني يف دولة<br />
الإمارات واخلليج ككل حيث نقوم باإرسال فريق<br />
للدعم امليكانيكي لتقدمي اخلدمة املطلوبة ملستخدم<br />
القارب. وطورت الركة خدمات هاتفية تغطي جميع<br />
الإمارات، فاأينما كان صاحب القارب ما عليه سوى<br />
االتصال وسنقوم باإرسال فريق للدعم الفني يف<br />
احلال. عالوةً على ذلك، تقدم الركة خدمة املوقف<br />
اجلاف Dry Berth وهي خدمة اصطفاف القوارب<br />

For the 7th consecutive year,<br />
Extreme Marine is participating in the<br />
Dubai International Boat Show. In this<br />
interview, Nassour Ibrahim Nassour,<br />
General Manager of Extreme Marine,<br />
highlights the company’s success.<br />
How do you support the marine sports<br />
sector in the UAE?<br />
Emiratis enjoy race boats, speed boats<br />
and luxury boats. This has encouraged<br />
us to achieve remarkable successes in<br />
this sector. Last year, Extreme Marine<br />
sold 157 engines (ROS, Inboard,<br />
Outboard and Race). A new engine<br />
(PRO 115) that was manufactured in<br />
2015 will be showcased at the Dubai<br />
International Boat Show to serve<br />
commercial and fishing boats.<br />
What will you have on display at the<br />
Boat Show?<br />
We will show PRO 350, Racing<br />
400 and PRO 115 racing engines, in<br />
addition to ROS which are all sports<br />
engines.<br />
How do you ensure high-quality<br />
services?<br />
Our customer list has been growing<br />
since the establishmet of Extreme<br />
Marine in 2003. We provide quality<br />
after-sales service where our customer<br />
service team contacts the customers<br />
each week to check their satisfaction<br />
with the boats and the services. Our<br />
customer satisfaction rate exceeds 90%.<br />
How do you keep pace with market<br />
developments?<br />
We focus on before-and-after-sales.<br />
Since 2009 and with the support<br />
of Mr.Mohammed bin Jabara Al<br />
Marar, the CEO of Exterme Marine,<br />
the company has become a service<br />
centre providing maintenance, design<br />
services, modification, manufacturing<br />
and installation of luxury furniture,<br />
electrical maintenance and boat<br />
towing. We also provide technical<br />
support in the UAE and the GCC.<br />
Customers can call us from any emirate<br />
and we send a technical support team<br />
immediately. We also offer Dry Berth<br />
services to park boats in dry areas in<br />
our company for reasonable fees, to<br />
protect them from severe weather and<br />
sea water.<br />
What does your training centre offer?<br />
Our training center provides training<br />
on maintenance and installation of<br />
speedboat engines. Specialists provide<br />
theoretical and practical training at<br />
the company’s factory in English and<br />
French.<br />
Do you have plans for global<br />
expansion?<br />
Currently, we don’t have any branches<br />
outside the UAE. However, we provide<br />
services through subcontractors such as<br />
Water Trice in Lebanon, Performance<br />
Marine in Qatar and Power Boat in<br />
Kuwait.<br />
How does Extreme Marine compete in<br />
the service market?<br />
The company occupies a leading<br />
position in the market especially that<br />
it is tied up with a big name like<br />
Mercury Racing. We apply the highest<br />
quality standards in maintenance and<br />
after-sales, which has made us the first<br />

A<br />
recreational maritime hub is<br />
a maritime system that hosts<br />
all nautical leisure segments in<br />
connection with the Sea and the<br />
City where it is located, respecting<br />
the different users’ expectations. The<br />
co-existence of the complete chain<br />
of pleasure crafts - from the smallest<br />
dinghy to super<strong>yachts</strong> and passenger<br />
ships - is achieved by creating<br />
segregation among users, with different<br />
needs and requirements. Segmentation<br />
and users differentiation is a key factor<br />
in the success of the development.<br />
In the development of marinas and<br />
facilities for super<strong>yachts</strong>, both for<br />
homeporting and as destinations, the<br />
focus is not only on the vessel needs,<br />
but before all on the Yacht Guests<br />
and Owners experience as well as the<br />
support to the Captain and Crew.<br />
The support services and amenities<br />
that a superyacht marina provides<br />
have a great effect upon the overall<br />
success of the facility, particularly<br />
regarding maximising the potential for<br />
transient vessel visitations. Given the<br />
ever-expanding number of facilities<br />
worldwide, any proposed marina<br />
should offer <strong>yachts</strong>men a reason to visit<br />
the facility other than only for dockage.<br />
Cruise ships terminals and passengers<br />
transits are today one of the most<br />
important touristic activities in the<br />
ports of the world. Ships, bigger and<br />
bigger, bring in the port-destinations<br />
thousands of passengers from all over<br />
the world, looking from stamina,<br />
recreation and original shopping.<br />
To create successful and appealing<br />
destinations, each port and city should<br />
offer a balanced approach of local<br />
experience and regional attractions,<br />
with a rationale which combines the<br />
interest for the cruise company and the<br />
economic impact for the destination.<br />
Opposite to “boat-parking”, a<br />
successful maritime hub should become<br />
value-added hospitality businesses,<br />
which provide a social function. This<br />
is reached by embracing the needs and<br />
expectations of all users’ categories,<br />
and by enhancing the presence of<br />
all segments of the yachting and<br />
maritime industry: private residential<br />
and transient boaters; charter and<br />
commercial operators; nautical shows<br />
and watersports/events organizations;<br />
institutes promoting maritime<br />
education and training programs;<br />
tourists, and citizens.<br />
In this process, an active and fully<br />
marina-integrated Yacht Club becomes<br />
the focal point and the identity of the<br />
maritime hub. Brand, style, practice<br />
of yachting, quality services and<br />
networking developed in the club<br />
transform the boat-park into more<br />
comprehensive projects gathering<br />
multidirectional synergies instrumental<br />
to generate b2b and b2c opportunities.<br />
Sailing, watersport activities and<br />
nautical events with the “flag” of the<br />
yacht club represent the heart and the<br />
life of the marina, where the younger<br />
generation learns the beauty of the<br />
sea and its elements. This makes the<br />
project authentic and timeless.<br />

Planning aspects<br />
In the planning process, a key<br />
factor is the identification of demand<br />
characteristics, needs and compromises<br />
between different kind of traffics<br />
and revenues. Facilities, utilities and<br />
services should be designed for the<br />
different users in order to develop<br />
common profitable synergies. The<br />
strategy should be oriented to combine<br />
local and regional interests; in both<br />
Yachting and Cruises, the existence<br />
of an alternative destination nearby<br />
is more an opportunity than a risk.<br />
Cooperation between touristic<br />
governmental institutes and private<br />
businesses should be encouraged.<br />
From a technical and economical<br />
perspective, the conversion and/or<br />
expansion of existing ports/ marina<br />
facilities into recreational and leisure<br />
boating centres has huge advantages in<br />
expanding existing assets. This process<br />
includes re-arranging the berthing<br />
layout, re-fitting quays and jetties,<br />
re-furbishing facilities, re-organizing<br />
services, and upgrading the upland to<br />
the latest yachting standards. Always<br />
more frequently in the world, old<br />
ports, former industrial-commercial<br />
oriented, are converted in recreational<br />
facilities for pleasure navigation,<br />
especially to accommodate super<strong>yachts</strong><br />
and cruise ships. They are considered to<br />
have the greatest potential for marina<br />
development in urban planning.<br />
UAE’s challenge<br />
The UAE has already diversified<br />
its economy with tourism as one of<br />
its core pillars and is recognized as a<br />
global business hub of the Middle<br />
East, South Asia, Oceania and East<br />
Africa. The UAE is an established<br />
exclusive and luxury world’s<br />
destination, a multicultural and safe<br />
hub; they are delimited by beautiful<br />
coasts with clean waters, excellent<br />
diving spots and breathless desert<br />
landscape. With a proper planning and<br />
organic development, there are some<br />
great pioneering opportunities with<br />
respect to creating a new recreational<br />
maritime hub in UAE and Emirati<br />
Riviera. The Country can establish<br />
itself as a destination stop on the<br />
circumnavigation and superyacht<br />
cruising circuits; can help create the<br />
luxury charter yacht industry to attract<br />
celebrities and wealthy investors; can<br />
encourage GCC owners to move<br />
boats from the Mediterranean in the<br />
winter season,and offer an alternative<br />
