Súťaž v strihaní viniča
Každý rok vo februári je v račianskych viniciach súťaž o najlepší čas
v strihaní viniča medzi vinohradníkmi z Rače a jej okolia. Organizuje ju
Račiansky vinohradnícky spolok. Súťažiaci musia za 45 minút čo
najlepšie prestrihať vopred vyžrebovaný úsek vinohradu s typickou
miestnou odrodou Račianskej Frankovky modrej. Podujatie je plné
dobrej nálady, pohody a spokojnosti z dobre vykonanej práce.
Medzinárodný festival Frankovky modrej
a ružových vín
Toto tradičné podujatie s medzinárodnou účasťou sa pravidelne koná
v období pred Račianskymi hodmi v priestoroch Družstevného domu
Villa Vino Rača. Do súťaže býva prihlásených viac než 100 vín zo
slovenskej i zahraničnej produkcie. Odborná degustácia prihlásených
vzoriek zabalených v čiernych šatkách prebieha za účasti renomovaných
enológov. Súťaž je zároveň nominačnou súťažou Národného salónu vín
Slovenskej republiky. Verejná ochutnávka súťažných vín býva potom
počas Račianskych hodov.
Račiansky festival Frankovky modrej
Račiansky festival Frankovky modrej býva posledný májový víkend
v Červenej lisovni Nemeckého kultúrneho domu v Rači. Koná sa
z iniciatívy Račianskeho vinohradníckeho spolku v období sviatku
sv. Urbana, patróna vinárov. Cieľom podujatia je oživenie bohatých
vinohradníckych a vinárskych tradícií regiónu. Slávnostne sa otvára
narazením suda Račianskej Frankovky za účasti starostov okolitých
mestských častí Bratislavy s vinárskou tradíciou. K dobrej nálade
a pohode na podujatí prispievajú miestne hudobné skupiny.
Deň vo vinohrade
Od roku 2011 sa račianski vinohradníci pravidelne zúčastňujú na tomto
významnom podujatí, kde sa môžu stretnúť s konzumentmi lahodného
moku priamo „v teréne“, vo vinohradoch.
Požehnanie mladému vínu
Tradičné novembrové svätomartinské požehnanie mladému vínu je
podujatím, na ktoré sa každoročne tešia všetci vinohradníci, vinári i
priatelia mladého vína. Organizuje ho Mestská časť Bratislava - Rača
v spolupráci s Račianskym vinohradníckym spolkom. Po zaujímavom
programe nasleduje vyhodnotenie vinohradníckeho roka a požehnanie
mladému vínu. Podujatie vrcholí ochutnávkou z úrody mladých vín s
kvalitnými a chutnými slovenskými syrmi.
Deň otvorených pivníc Malokarpatskej
vínnej cesty
Deň otvorených pivníc umožňuje prežiť príbeh vína a objaviť život vo
vínnych pivniciach. Býva dvakrát do roka. Prvý raz v máji, druhý raz po
oberačke v novembri. Vtedy môžu milovníci vína ochutnať víno priamo
zo sudov vyše sto pivníc malokarpatského regiónu od Devína cez Raču,
Svätý Jur, Pezinok a Modru, až po Trnavu. Počas Dní otvorených pivníc
je sprístupnená aj reprezentačná pivnica v Obecnom dome na Alstrovej
249. Návštevníci majú k dispozícii mapu všetkých pivníc, degustačný
pohár a vinársky pas, do ktorého môžu zbierať pečiatky z navštívených
pivníc a zaradiť sa do žrebovania o ceny.

Competition in cutting the vine
Every year in February, in Rača vineyards a contest for the best time in
cutting the vine takes place between the wine-growers from Rača and
from its surroundings. It is organized by Rača vineyard society
(Račiansky vinohradnícky spolok). Contestants have 45 minutes to best
cut the advance drawn section of the vineyard with typical local varieties
of Rača Lemberger blue (Račianska Frankovka modrá). The event is full
of good cheer, comfort and satisfaction of a well done job.
International festival of Lemberger blue
and rosé wines
This traditional event with international participation is held regularly in the
period before the Rača feast in the premises of the Cooperative house Villa
Vino Rača. More than 100 wines from the Slovak and foreign production
usually enter into the competition. Professional tasting of registered samples
wrapped in black scarves takes place with the participation of renowned
oenologists. The competition is at the same time a nomination contest of the
National wine salon of the Slovak Republic. Open tasting of competitive
wines usually continues during the Rača feast.
Rača festival of Lemberger blue
The Rača festival of Lemberger blue takes place usually during the last
weekend in May in “Red mill” of the German cultural house in Rača. It is
held upon the initiative of the Rača vineyard society during the feast-day
of St. Urban, the patron of winemakers. The aim is to revive the rich
wine-growing and wine-making traditions of the region. It is inaugurated
by tapping a keg of Rača Lemberger, with the participation of the
mayors from neighbouring city districts of Bratislava with a wine-making
tradition. Local bands contribute to the mood and well-being at the
event.
Day in the vineyard
Since 2011 Rača wine-growers regularly participate in this important
event, where they can meet with consumers of this delicious drink
directly in the „field“, in the vineyards.
Blessing the young wine
The traditional St. Martin’s blessing the young wine in November is an
event which is enjoyed every year by all wine-growers, winemakers and
friends of a young wine. It is organized by the City district of Bratislava
– Rača, in cooperation with Rača vineyard society. After an interesting
program an evaluation of the vineyard year and the blessing of new wine
follow. The event culminates with tasting young wines and good and
tasty Slovak cheeses.
The Day of open cellars along the Small
Carpathian Wine Route
The Day of open cellars enables to share the wine story and discover
a life in wine cellars. It is organized twice a year. For the first time in
May, the second time after the grape harvest in November. Then wine
lovers can taste wine directly from the barrels in more than a hundred of
basements of the Small Carpathian region, from Devín across Rača,
Svätý Jur, Pezinok, Modra to Trnava. During the Days of open cellars
also the representative cellar in the Municipal house at 249 Alstrova
Street is accessible. Visitors have at their disposal a map of all the cellars,
a wine tasting cup and a passport to collect stamps from visited cellars
and participate in a prize draw.
