AU Ho-nien (Taiwanese, 1935)<br />
Born in Guangdong province, AU Ho-nien took<br />
apprenticeship with ink master Chao Shaoan, and<br />
his works have strong influence from the Lingnan<br />
School of Art. He promotes creativity from the<br />
basis of traditional <strong>Chinese</strong> paintings. Thus, his<br />
works obtained the essence of traditional <strong>Chinese</strong><br />
painting with a hint of style from Japanese art.<br />
Au's works have been welcomed within and<br />
beyond Taiwan, and have participated in various<br />
cities around the world. Au also devotes his life in<br />
art education and is currently a professor in the<br />
<strong>Chinese</strong> Culture University in Taiwan.<br />
CHANG Gu-Nien (Taiwanese, 1905 - 1987)<br />
Born in Jiangsu, CHANG Gu Nien was an<br />
apprentice of Feng Chaoran and Wang Tongyu in<br />
<strong>Paintings</strong> and Poems. Chang excelled in landscape<br />
paintings and calligraphy. He practiced calligraphy<br />
by copying old masters from Ming and Qing<br />
dynasty. His skills were praised widely early at the<br />
age of 16. Chang has rich contribution in the art<br />
field. He taught in universities and established the<br />
Seven Friends' Art Group with his fellow artists.<br />
CHANG Yun-Ming (Taiwanese, 1949)<br />
Born in Taiwan, CHANG Yun-ming has graduated<br />
from the National Taiwan University of Arts and<br />
earned a Master degree at the Lindenwood<br />
University in the US. Chang’s works reflect<br />
flashbacks of his daily life and his inner feelings,<br />
expressed through lines and depiction in both<br />
<strong>Chinese</strong> and Western techniques. His unique<br />
creative style allowed his works to be included in<br />
permanent collection of national institutions, such<br />
as the National Taiwan<br />
