2. Lesson archive
The teacher can record their lessons and upload them
online, creating an archive of lessons. This allows learners
to access previous lessons for information and clarification
on a subject or to stimulate their study. It can also be
helpful for students who missed the lesson because they
can directly access the archive independently of other
participants in the learning activity. Likewise, if a teacher
misses a class, they can publish the lesson online and
make it available to learners.
3. Updates
Students subscribing to a specific podcast will be notified
if there is an update. The main benefit of podcasting is that
the learner who subscribes will be constantly informed, as
opposed to a virtual learning environment in which learners
must be motivated to visit the site. In this way, podcasting
makes it easy to convey information to all of its members.
4. Continuous learning.
Each lesson can be downloaded to an iPod or MP3 player,
and students can follow it even when they are outside the
classroom environment.
5. Creative learning
Unlike traditional pedagogical strategies, podcasting is
being replaced by various forms such as guest lectures,
interviews, videos, etc. encourages learners to develop their
own podcasts to improve their listening skills and expand
learning, focusing on the interests of each child [4]. It makes
it possible to increase the effectiveness of teaching English
through self-intensification of work, because has a clear
sequence of actions of the teacher and students: preliminary
plan and task, the process of perception and interpretation
of the information podcast and control work taking into
account the level of knowledge of the English language of
students [3].
Conclusion
Thus, podcasts are an effective tool for the formation of
communicative competence in learners of English, and the
interaction between participants in educational activities can
be synchronous and asynchronous, while the materials are
available at any time and can be used both in the classroom
and in self-study. In addition, podcasts can be used as
teaching resources for adapted teaching of speaking for high
school students, and their value in teaching English lies in
ensuring the effective development of students' oral speech,
saving time, and in expanding the educational space of the
learning process, which contributes to individualization.

In conclusion, it can be added that a podcast can be
one of the innovative computer-based teaching tools that
aims to improve the spoken language of learners. In other
words, podcast technology is multifunctional and one of the
most effective means of teaching speech, as it stimulates
not only the study of English, but also contributes to the
simultaneous development of several types of language
skills. Along with developing listening skills while working
with podcasts, which include video material with textual
accompaniment in English, speaking and writing skills are
also improved, moreover, podcasts provide knowledge
about the diversity of the target language culture in a
listener-friendly environment.
