The NGO Coordination Committee for Iraq – NCCI – is an independent initiative launched by a group of<br />

International NGOs which were present in Baghdad in April 2003. At the time of its inception, the 14<br />

members of NCCI intended to establish the basis of a neutral aid coordination highlighting the priorities for<br />

intervention and optimizing the responses to the needs of the Iraqi population. Today its main activities are:<br />

optimize general information sharing on humanitarian issues, improve general coordination amongst the<br />

humanitarian community to optimize provision of assistance and protection, training and capacity building of<br />

International NGO teams and national NGOs.<br />

My main responsibility was the coordination of all the NGOs part of the network on financial, human<br />

resources and administrative aspects. Implement and animate workshop on economic and social topics.<br />

Follow economic and social indicators in order to develop a relevant data base. Coordination with donor’s<br />

Action Against Hunger is part of the ACF International network. It is a global humanitarian organization<br />

with 30 years of expertise in emergency situations of conflict, natural disaster, and chronic food insecurity. It<br />

is recognized as leader in the fight against malnutrition. It runs life-saving programs in some 40 countries<br />

benefiting five million people each year.<br />

I worked for “Action against hunger” in three different countries (Pakistan, Kenya and South Sudan) mainly<br />

as program manager, administrator and then as consultant -designing and implementing changing strategy<br />

on the field-.<br />

My main responsibility in Kenya/South Sudan mission as a consultant was to train the national and<br />

international staff in order to improve the understanding of budgets and donors (ECHO, DFID, OFDA,<br />

UNICEF, CHF) procedures. To implement banking on line. Training of trainer.<br />

My main responsibility in Pakistan as project manager and administrator was to manage the “WFP<br />

distribution programme post-earthquake in northern Pakistan”.<br />
