There is nothing quite like a fall Saturday in Auburn, Alabama. 

From Tiger Walk to Toomer’s Corner, our fans and our traditions make 

Auburn’s gameday experience the best in college football. 

As good as Auburn’s gameday experience is, we are always striving to 

make it better. The Auburn Athletics Department has been hard at work 

during the offseason to give fans what they told us they wanted—more 

tailgating, more parking and more memories to share. 

Thanks to a terrific collaboration with the Auburn University 

Administration, we have added a net gain of 2,000 free parking spaces 

for the 2013 season. We’ve also opened up more areas for tailgating that 

in previous years were not available. 

Whether you want free parking and tailgating available on a first-come, 

first-served basis or hassle-free, guaranteed gameday options, we’ve got 

something for everyone. 

I encourage you to study the maps in this Fan Guide to make your parking 

and tailgating plans for the upcoming season. You can also find a wealth 

of information on AUBGameday.com. 

Last year, we expanded our gameday events and activities beyond those 

autumn Saturdays to create a great weekend experience in Auburn. Be on 

the lookout for more gameday weekend activities in 2013. 

The information in this Fan Guide is intended to help you plan your travel 

to Auburn this year. Please take a few moments to review it, and feel free 

to share it with others.

NEW for 2013 

MORE FREE PARKiNg AND 

TAiLgATiNg SPOTS 

It has been very clear by the feedback of the Auburn Family 

that additional parking that is free and close to the stadium 

ranks high on the wish list. The plan for 2013 creates more 

than 2,000 new free parking and tailgating spots around 

campus. Here are some of the highlights: 

SoUth DonAhUe CorrIDor: The temporary stakes that 

line both sides of Donahue during the fall will be moved or 

eliminated. The stakes on the western side of the street will 

be removed to allow fans to park on the curb. The stakes on 

the eastern side of the street will remain but will be pushed 

farther away from the curb to protect the pedestrian path 

while also creating ample space for additional parking. A 

new lot previously not available to fans will also be opened 

on the north end of the South Donahue hayfields, adjacent 

to Lem Morrison Drive. Additional parking will also be 

opened up on Lem Morrison as a construction laydown area 

is converted to parking and tailgating space. (Available at 4 

p.m. on Friday). 

WeSt SAMForD AvenUe: A small area of green space 

on West Samford Avenue near the intersection of Duncan 

Drive will also be opened up for free parking and tailgating. 

Permanent pipe and chain barriers along that portion of 

West Samford will be removed. (Available at 4 p.m. on 

Friday). 

IntrAMUrAl FIelDS: Thanks to the cooperation of the 

Division of Student Affairs, 70 new tailgating spots will also 

be offered on the perimeter of the Intramural Fields on Biggio 

Drive. The reserved spots will be offered free of charge. 

Beginning in August, fans will be able to reserve those spots 

online at AUBGameday.com. 

FACIlItIeS DIvISIon: Additional free parking will be 

available at the Facilities Division off of West Samford 

Avenue. Fans can “quick park” their vehicles there, and 

shuttle service will be available to and from the stadium. 

REMOvAL OF BOLLARDS 

Portions of the permanent pipe and chain barriers along 

Wire Road in front of the Carol Draughon Village (CDV) 

complex will be removed prior to football season, opening 

up the area for free parking and tailgating. Bollards will 

also be removed on Biggio Drive near the Intramural Fields. 

Vehicles will be allowed to pull up on the grass and fans can 

tailgate there free of charge. (Available at 4 p.m. Friday). 

NEW gAMEDAY APP 

Auburn Athletics will launch a brand new mobile application 

aimed specifically at making the gameday experience better 

for the fans. Find all the vital information like parking, 

tailgating and stadium maps, while also joining in the social 

conversation with a second screen experience. You will also 

be able to enjoy live scoring and statistics without having 

to leave the app. Download for iPad, iPhone and Android 

in August.

TiCKET SCANNERS 

AND SEAT SELECTiON 

Auburn will utilize ticket scanners this year in Jordan-Hare 

Stadium giving fans the ability to print tickets at home, 

transfer tickets to other Auburn fans and cut down on 

fraudulent tickets getting into the stadium. Fans also will be 

able to select their seats when purchasing single-game tickets 

online for 2013. 

NEW LOCAL RADiO AFFiLiATE AND 

TigER TALK ON LOCATiON 

The Auburn IMG Sports Network has partnered with WINGS 

94.3 to become the new local radio affiliate, giving coverage 

to the entire Lee County listening area. The weekly Tiger Talk 

radio show will return on location for 2013 with Coach Gus 

Malzahn and Voice of the Auburn Tigers Rod Bramblett at 

Bob’s Victory Grille in Auburn. 

WEAgLE WOODS 

Thanks to the cooperation of Dean James P. Shepard and the 

School of Forestry & Wildlife Sciences, a new free tailgating 

area will be opened up behind the Forestry & Wildlife 

building at the corner of South Donahue and Lem Morrison 

Drive. The School of Forestry has partially cleared a wooded 

area there for a longleaf pine tree reforestation project. 

“Weagle Woods” will offer tailgaters a prime location among 

the pine trees just a short walk from Jordan-Hare Stadium. 

ADDiTiONAL TAiLgATE DROPOFF 

LOCATiONS 

Last season, three locations were designated as dropoff areas 

for fans’ to unload their tailgating supplies. This year, three 

additional locations are being added to the pregame routes. 

The six locations available for vehicles to dropoff are:

Any items found during the game

Guest Assist provides a simple text message 

code that will permit Auburn fans to send

center at Jordan-Hare Stadium. For stadium 

assistance or to report an issue, text the

STADiUM TRAMS 

Stadium Trams will shuttle limited mobility 

guests from the disabled parking lot at 

War Eagle Way to Gate 2 (east side) 

and Gate 14 (west side). The service will 

begin two hours prior to the game, end at 

kick-off and resume at the conclusion of 

the game.

No pass-outs are given for any reason. Police 

officers cannot give pass-outs. If you leave the 

stadium, you must purchase another ticket to 

re-enter. If tickets are not available, you will 

not be allowed to re-enter.

FAN CONDUCT 

Spectators will not be allowed on the playing 

field at any time. Spectators attempting to 

enter the field will be ejected from the stadium 

and/or arrested. 

Do not throw objects, including cups and 

ice, from the stands or any other area of the 

stadium. Anyone caught throwing objects 

inside the stadium will be subject to ejection 

from the stadium and/or arrest. If you are 

ejected from the stadium for any reason, you 

will not receive a refund for your ticket. 

TRASH AND RECYCLiNg 

Trash and Recycling barrels are conveniently 

located around the concourse, as well as the 

club sections and upper deck. Please dispose 

of your trash and recycling properly before 

you leave the stadium.

Tailgating is not allowed on campus until 4 p.m. on 

Friday. Tailgating on campus will begin at 6 a.m. 

Friday of the Alabama game. 

Please observe and follow signs in and around all 

construction areas. 

No one is allowed to reserve legal, paved parking 

spaces in the parking decks or university parking lots. 

Reserving tailgating spots in grass areas using stakes, 

ropes, ribbons, tape, chairs, tables, tents, vehicles 

or other items is not allowed until 4 p.m. on Friday, 

except for specially permitted University events. Items 

found before then are subject to removal without 

notice or reimbursement. 

It is unlawful to use any university utilities. 

HAYFiELDS OPEN 

ON THURSDAY 

The hayfields on Donahue Drive will open for free, public 

RV parking at 2 p.m. on Thursdays prior to home games. 

The hayfields close at 4 p.m. on Sundays following 

each home game. Hayfields will open at 2 p.m. on 

Wednesday prior to the Alabama game. 

TRASH 

Please keep campus beautiful by placing all trash and 

recycling in the proper bins located throughout the 

university tailgate areas, RV lots, and stadium for your 

convenience. Litter and recycling bags will also be 

distributed in tailgate areas and RV lots to help keep the 

university litter-free. Please see the Gameday map for 

trash and recycling locations. 

TENTS 

Tents with stakes shorter than 12-inches may be set up 

after 4 p.m. on Fridays. Permits are required for any tent 

with stakes that are 12-inches or longer. Permit requests 

are handled online at www.auburn.edu/tents or 334- 

844-4619. 

Special permits are required for outdoor entertainment 

events with amplified sound. Permit requests must be 

submitted at least 14 days in advance and must include 

a list of required information for the request to be 

approved. Requests should be made to 334-844-4619.

Grills are not allowed within 50 feet of campus 

buildings or in other designated no-grill areas. All 

fires must be contained within grills or other containers 

designed specifically for that purpose. Extinguish 

charcoal fires thoroughly with water before leaving 

them unattended. Place extinguished charcoal in 

designated containers or remove it from campus for 

disposal. Do not dump charcoal on the ground or in 

dumpsters. Tailgating and grilling are not allowed in 

the parking decks. 

TAiLgATE AT THE PARK 

Parking packages are available to all Auburn fans 

at Ag Heritage. The packages range from parking 

only to regular, deluxe and ultimate tailgates. Fans 

seeking hassle-free tailgating can purchase packages 

featuring parking, tents, tables and power. RV parking 

is still available at Ag Heritage Park, and special event 

packages will be made available for the first time at the 

park’s vintage facilities. Go to http://www.ag.auburn.

TAiLgATE DROP-OFF 

Each game day, fans will have the opportunity to 

unload their vehicles in one of six designated locations. 

At each location, staff will be present to assist with 

the unloading process, monitor unloading times and 

ensure the unload process does not disrupt normal 

game day traffic flow. The service will be available 

during pre-game only.

The Auburn Athletics Ticket Office is located on 

the first floor of Auburn Arena next to the Arena 

Scholarship entrance facing the west side of Jordan- 

Hare Stadium. Office hours are 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. 

Monday-Friday. For ticket information, call 

334-844-4040 or 1-855-AUB-2010 (x.1). The ticket 

office will open at 10:00 a.m. for games kicking off 

after 1:00 p.m. For 1:00 p.m. and earlier games, the 

ticket office opens at 8:00 a.m. Ticket sales will begin 

at the stadium two hours prior to kick off, and are 

located between gates 6-7 on the Southeast side of 

the stadium and between gates 13-14 on the 

West side. 

LOST, STOLEN, COUNTERFEiT, 

OR DESTROYED TiCKETS 

Tickets obtained from sources other than the Auburn 

Ticket Office could be lost, stolen, or counterfeit tickets 

and, if so, may be seized and canceled without 

compensation. Management reserves the unrestricted 

right to revoke this license or to refuse admission 

or remove any person whose conduct is deemed 

unbecoming.

Tickets may not be used for advertising, promotions

There is no on-campus location for StubHub ticket 

pick-up. All tickets purchased through StubHub must

This year, the Auburn Athletics Ticket Office will 

be implementing ticket scanning at all gates. This 

technology helps cut down on fraudulent tickets 

entering Jordan-Hare Stadium as well as gives ticket 

holders the ability to print-at-home, transfer tickets 

and use the ticket donation options.

If ticket holders are unable to attend Auburn football 

games at Jordan-Hare Stadium, there is now a

Fans will have the opportunity to use the “print-athome” 

option beginning in August for all single-game 

tickets for the 2013 season. Below are instructions: 

Log on to AUBTIX.com and go to “Buy Tickets” 

Select the game of your choice and enter the number 

of tickets requested 

Then select your seat location using the seat map or 

choose “best available option.” 

Once the tickets are in the Shopping Cart, select the 

delivery method “Print at Home” and proceed to 

checkout 

When the transaction is complete, two emails will 

be sent to the purchaser’s email address. One to 

confirm the purchase, and the second with a pdf of 

the tickets. (Please check junk mail in email account 

if either of the two emails are not received within 

24 hours.) 

Remember to print the pdf and bring to the game 

as this is your ticket for entrance to Jordan-Hare 

Stadium.

A prospect is any student who has started classes 

in the ninth grade (or seventh grade, for men’s 

basketball). Do not telephone, write (including 

chat rooms, instant messaging, and e-mails) 

with a prospect for the purpose of soliciting his/ 

her participation in Auburn University’s athletic 

program. 

tHe DON’tS 

Do not “friend request,” message, or create 

groups on social networking websites (i.e., 

Facebook, Twitter, etc.) for the purpose of 

soliciting a prospect’s participation in Auburn 

University’s athletic program. 

Do not become directly or indirectly involved 

in making arrangements for a prospect, the 

prospect’s relatives, or friends to receive 

money or financial aid of any kind. 

Do not provide transportation to prospects, 

including transportation to campus to 

attend athletic events. 

Do not provide free or reduced-cost tickets 

to any Auburn University event, home or 

away, to prospects, their relatives, or friends. 

Do not contact a prospect’s coach, principal, 

or counselor in an effort to evaluate the 

prospect. 

Do not visit the prospect’s institution to pick 

up film or transcripts that pertain to a 

prospect’s academic or athletic eligibility. 

Do not make special arrangements for 

entertainment during the recruiting process. 

Do not pay in whole or part the fees that are 

associated with any sports camps. 

Do feel free to attend sporting events where the 

prospects are participating. You must, however, 

avoid any conversation with the prospect or the 

prospect’s legal guardians or relatives. 

Do inform Auburn University coaches of prospects 

in your area by contacting the appropriate coach. 

You may also send newspaper clippings or Internet 

articles about prospects to the coaching staff.

COMPLiANCE 

AgENTS 

In order to protect our student-athletes from loss 

of eligibility due to agent activities, the following 

policies and procedures will be followed: 

Agents must be registered with the State of 

Alabama’s Office of the Secretary of State 

(http://www.sos.state.al.us/vb/athleteagents/ 

sacomplete2.aspx) and Auburn University’s 

Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Failure 

to register with the State shall result in the 

involved agent’s loss of registration status and 

may result in criminal charges. 

An agent cannot have any in-person contact 

with a student-athlete (or his/her parents or 

legal guardian) prior to the completion of the 

student-athlete’s senior competitive season 

unless approved and arranged by the Athletics 

Director (or designee). 

No Athletics Department staff member shall 

have any in-person contact or telephone 

communication with agents and/or financial 

advisors, or their representatives, on behalf 

of, or to discuss any, current student-athletes 

unless prior approval has been provided by 

the Athletic Director (or designee). In addition, 

a head coach in a sport may contact agents, 

professional sports teams, or professional sports 

organizations on behalf of a student-athlete 

provided no compensation is received for such 

services (NCAA Bylaws 11.1.4 and 11.1.4.1). 

Agents may not travel or be included as guests 

in any activities in which student-athletes are 

present. Agents may purchase tickets to athletic 

events in the same manner as any other member 

of the general public. In order to enforce this 

provision, guest lists will be reviewed by the 

Compliance Office. The institution shall not issue 

to a sports agent regular season or postseason 

game credentials in any sport that provides the 

individual with access to the sideline, locker 

rooms, or any area where contact with studentathletes 

may be possible (SEC Bylaw 12.3.1).

PENALTiES 

Once it is determined that a student-athlete (parent, 

guardian, or friends) has accepted any benefit (e.g., 

meals, tickets, gifts, money, trips) from an agent, the 

student-athlete will be declared ineligible. 

Once a student-athlete has had contact (in person) 

with an agent or agent intermediaries that were not 

arranged by the university any and all disciplinary 

action will be determined by the Athletics Director. 

The appropriate player’s associations (e.g. NFLPA, 

NBAPA) will be informed of the agent allegedly 

involved and to what extent he or she was involved in 

the violation. Additionally, the agent will be removed 

from the University’s Agent Registration List and will 

not be allowed to attend any sanctioned university 

agent events (i.e. Agent Day, Pro Scout Workout Day 

etc.). The Alabama State Attorney General’s Office 

will also be informed of the violation.

being upgraded for the third time in 2003, today it seats
