Januar 2008 4:59 16 Using the LCD monitor PerfectView Setting picture parameters ➤ Call up the “PICTURE/BILD” menu. ✓ The following menu is shown: PICTURE CONTRAST 50 BRIGHTNESS 50 COLOR 50 (TINT 50) VOLUME 20 You can open the following five functions: • CONTRAST: sets the contrast • BRIGHTNESS: sets the brightness • COLOUR: sets the colour • TINT: sets the colour density This symbol is not displayed when the PAL video signal is set. • VOLUME: sets the volume ➤ Select the desired function (e. g. color) by pressing the “SELECT” button the appropriate number of times. ✓ The function selected and the value currently set are displayed at the bottom of the display. ➤ Press the “UP” button to increase the value or … ➤ … press the “DOWN” button to decrease it. 52

Januar 2008 4:59 16 PerfectView Using the LCD monitor Setting user parameters ➤ Call up the “USER/NUTZER” menu. ✓ The following menu is shown: USER LANGUE SCREEN TITLE TIME DISTANCE ENG WIDE ON ON ON You can call up the following four functions: • LANGUE: set the language – ENG: English – DEUT: German • SCREEN: set the screen format – NOR/NOR: screen format 4 : 3 – WIDE/ WEIT: screen format 16 : 9 – FULL/BREIT: screen format 16 : 9 enlarged • TITLE: displays the selected camera (e. g. “C1” for camera 1) – ON: display switched on – OFF: display switched off • TIME: displays the date and time – ON: display switched on – OFF: display switched off • DISTANCE: sets the distance markers – ON: activates the distance markers (provided the mirror function is switched on) – OFF: deactivates the distance markers ➤ Select the desired function (e. g. “SCREEN”) by pressing the “SELECT” button the appropriate number of times. ➤ Press the “UP” button to increase the value or … ➤ … press the “DOWN” button to decrease it. 53
