och se hur malm blev tackjärn. Sommartid kan
du handla i Hyttboa, ta en kopp kaffe på hyttblecket
och njuta av underhållning. Hyttorna
visar bergshanteringens långa historia. Hur man
kolar vid en mila visas varje höst och minner om
gångna tider med servering av kolbullar och fläsk.
Vill du baka själv finns tillgång till en bagarstuga.
Naturparken vid hyttan ger upplevelser för alla
åldrar. I området finns också badsjö, föreningsgård
och motionsspår.

Granbergsdals smelting house 1642-1925
Enter the smelting house and see how iron ore
became crude iron. During the summer, you
can make purchases at the Hyttboa, have a cup
of coffee at a the Hyttblecket and enjoy the
entertainment. The smelting houses reveal the
long history of the mining industry. How they
used to make charcoal in a kiln is displayed every
autumn and is a reminder of the times gone by.
A traditional meal of stack workers’ pancakes
with bacon is served. If you would prefer to do
your own baking, you can have access to the Baker’s
cottage. The nature park next to the smelting
house is something of interest for people of all
ages. In the area, there is also a lake where you
can swim, a local club house and a running track.
