Safety Advice before installing – Please read
carefully
• Carefully read through this operating manual BEFORE connecting and
using the HDMI switcher, and observe all installation and safety
information it contains. Please keep this operating manual so you can
refer back to it later if necessary.
• Never open the HDMI switcher - static buildup may occur that can
destroy the sensitive electronics inside the HDMI switcher. Also, there
are no user-relevant settings or user-serviceable parts inside the
device. Always have repairs performed by qualified customer service
staff. Misuse or opening the case will invalidate the warranty.
• This HDMI switcher was built by OEHLBACH ® according to IEC 60065
and verified as fully functional when dispatched from our factory. To
maintain it in this condition and ensure safe operation, users must
observe the notices and warnings contained in this operating manual.
The device conforms to protection class III (safety extra-low voltage).
• Warning!
Only use the supplied mains adaptor! Use of other mains adaptors may
cause damage or even destroy the device. Damage resulting from
improper use is not covered by warranty.
• As with all electronic devices, please keep away from moisture!
• If the HDMI switcher was subject to significant variations in temperature,
for example during transport, only connect the device after an
acclimatisation phase of at least two hours, before using the HDMI
switcher. Otherwise, irreparable damage or electric shock may occur
due to condensation.
• Always place your switcher on a stable and even surface and keep
away from radiators and other heat sources and from direct sunlight. To
prevent heat accumulation do not put objects, discs, books or similar on
top of the device.
• Always disconnect the device from the mains if you will not be using it
for a long period of time.
