You can connect any device with an HDMI output or input that complies with
the HDMI standard.
• Connect your display device to the HDMI output socket.
• Now connect all source devices to the sockets labelled “Input”.
• When you have connected the HDMI switcher with all HDMI devices
you wish to connect, connect the included mains adaptor.
Always make sure that
• all connections at the inputs and outputs of the HDMI switcher are
properly inserted.
• all connections are connected with appropriate strain relief for the
cables.
WARNING:
Only use the supplied mains adaptor – other mains adaptors may
cause irreparable damage to the device. Damage resulting from the
use of a mains adaptor other than that supplied is not covered by
warranty and it may cause damage to your connected equipment,
which also is not covered!
Step 4: Activating your HDMI switcher for the first time
• Please configure the connected HDMI sources so that an HDMI signal is
output, and activate the HDMI input on the connected display device.
See the relevant operating manuals for instructions.
• The HDMI switcher is now ready for use. When the switcher is
connected to the mains, the power LED lights up and the switcher
selects the first HDMI input. Now please switch on the other devices of
your system.
Operating instructions:
The OEHLBACH ® HDMI switcher is controlled by means of the operating button
on the front panel, which assumes various functions depending on its position.
Manually selecting the input source
The currently active input is indicated by a lit LED. Press the operating button
briefly to switch to the next input. The switcher simply cycles through all the
inputs. Shortly after the input port is selected, the HDMI initialisation dialog
between the display device and the source begins. Depending on the
connected devices, it may take up to five seconds before an image is
displayed.
