2.1 Städtebauliche Zielsetzung
Zentrales Wettbewerbsziel ist es, Lösungen für eine
anpassungsfähige Stadt zu entwickeln, die Flexibilität
und Funktionalität zu berücksichtigen. Natürliche und
kulturelle Werte und Qualitäten sollen verknüpft und in
ein ausgewogenes Verhältnis gesetzt werden.
Es ist eine städtebauliche, freiraumplanerische und
verkehrliche Gesamtkonzeption zu entwickeln, die den
hohen Anforderungen des Standortes gerecht wird.
Die Gesamtkonzeption muss grenzüberschreitend die
geplanten Nutzungsbausteine sinnvoll miteinander
verknüpfen, zur Stärkung des Agglomerationszentrums
beitragen sowie geeignete Massnahmen zur Entlastung
des Agglomerationszentrums vom Individualverkehr aufzeigen.
Eine gute und attraktive Erschliessung mit dem
LV1 und ÖV ist zu sichern.
Klein Venedig ist als Entwicklungsschwerpunkt für
Freizeit, Erholung, Veranstaltung und Kultur, aber auch
für touristisch attraktive Nutzungen zu entwickeln. Der
Freiraum und der Uferbereich sind aufzuwerten.
KLEIN VENEDIG
2.1 urban planning Goals
The central goal of the competition is to develop solutions
for an adaptable city that take into account flexibility
and functionality. The aim is to combine and balance
natural and cultural values and qualities.
Submissions should present an overall urban planning
concept, including open spaces and traffic planning,
that does justice to the exacting requirements of the
location. The overall concept must incorporate
cross-border, meaningful links between the planned
utilisation components that strengthen the centre
of the agglomeration, as well as appropriate measures
for reducing vehicular traffic in the agglomeration
centre. It must ensure good, attractive alternatives
with non-motorised and public transport.
The proposal should include plans to develop Little
Venice as a place for recreation and leisure, and
cultural events, but also for uses that will attract
tourism. The open spaces and the lakeside should be
upgraded.
