Motor<br />

BLDC gear motor BLDC stands for Brushless-<br />

DC, i.e., a brushless, electronically commutated<br />

3-phase direct current motor with a maximum<br />

continuous rated power of 250W.<br />

Controller<br />

BLDC motor controller with digital programme<br />

control in accordance with the European<br />

standard. Three different driving modes:<br />

ECO, NORMAL & SPORT. In addition, three<br />

geographic profiles P1-P3. The auxiliary actuator<br />

is automatically activated when the pedals are<br />

used, providing assistance up to 25 km/h. The<br />

auxiliary actuator is automatically cut off when<br />

the brakes are applied.<br />

Battery<br />

37V 8.8A h (320 Wh) lithium ion battery made in<br />

Europe with 5 LED capacity display, weight 2.4<br />

kg, up to 500 charge cycles or 3 – 4 years life<br />

expectancy by optimum usage.<br />

Charging Unit<br />

CC-CV charging unit with 2A charging<br />

current full charge of the 9Ah battery lasts<br />

approximately 8.8 h.<br />

Lithium-ion batteries are classed as dangerous goods<br />

due to the element lithium which is very reactive. During<br />

development, required crash safety tests are performed<br />

in order to ensure that no uncontrolled process caused<br />

by a destructive external event can occur. It is further<br />

required that correct labelling in shipment is used in<br />

order for the fire brigade, for example, to immediately<br />

know which particular fire extinguishing technology<br />

must be used in the event of a vehicle accident.<br />

Furthermore, it is also ensured through technologies<br />

in cell structure and in the protection circuit that<br />

no electrical overload occurs even during normal<br />

operation.<br />

mode, personal mode of operation and other<br />

factors.<br />
