The Austrian company MAS designs and manufactures
innovative solutions for recycling and reprocessing
of plastics. The innovative strength of the company
is shown by approximately 60 patents, in which
majority owner Ing. Helmuth Schulz is called the
inventor.
On a production area of approximately
1.200 m 2 MAS constructs the entire equipment
for processing of post-consumer plastics, like PET
or fibre-reinforced polymers, exactly suitable to
customer requirements and local conditions. The
plants are delivered turn-key to customers in the
whole world. With the NCT-Extruder MAS can
offer a system with high efficiency and high
performance for direct-extrusion and compounding
of natural fibre plastics.
The products
The NCT-Extruder with the conical co-rotating twin screws is the economical
solution in the extrusion of natural-fibre reinforced plastic.
The conical co-rotating principle makes an excellent homogeneity of
the plastic fibre melting. This raises the mechanical properties of the
product considerably.
The conical extruder design gives an enormous operation volume
in the feeding area, whereby the highest screw filling degrees get
reached. The low melting temperature, which achieved in this process,
allows the highest output. The plasticizing unit handles pressure built
up to 300 bar, with venting even with high degree of moisture of the
input material.

Services
In cooperation with an Austrian R&D partner MAS offers services in
the recipe development, in engineering of plant concepts as well as
the start-up of the whole MAS-production line.
