Das Leuchtengehäuse umfasst mit 

schmal aufgekantetem Stahlblechrahmen 

in verkehrsweiß eine 

Acrylglasscheibe mit natureloxierter 

Aluminiumumrandung – fein differenzierter 

Materialeinsatz und 

ästhetisches Leuchten-Design. In 

der Grundform quadratisch oder 

rechteckig, bietet protection ein 

großes Einsatzspektrum für Allge- 

mein- oder Grundbeleuchtung. Der 

Einbau erfolgt in Systemdecken mit 

sichtbaren T-Schienen, verdeckt 

symmetrischen Konstruktionen, 

sowie für ausgeschnittenen Decken. 

Die Leuchte wird jeweils mit zwei, 

drei oder vier Leuchtstofflampen in 

moderner T5/T16 - Technik bestückt.

Systemdecken werden aufgelockert

The luminaire housing features a 

narrowly folded up, traffic white 

coated, sheet steel frame that accommodates 

an acrylic diffuser 

with natural anodised aluminium 

fringe – subtly differing materials 

for an aesthetically pleasing luminaire 

design. With a basic square or 

rectangular form protection offers 

a wide application range for all-purpose 

lighting. Installation is for ceiling 

systems with visible T rails, concealed 

symmetrical constructions 

and cut-out ceilings, with either 

two, three or four fluorescent lamps 

with modern T5/T16 technology. 

Modern, maintenance-free light 

field solutions that emit a pleasant, 

uniformly diffuse light. The geometry 

of system ceilings are relaxed 

and structured, orientation is aided 

within the room or specific areas 

accentuated.

Der Einbau erfolgt in Systemdecken mit 

sichtbaren T-Schienen, verdeckt 

symmetrischen Konstruktionen, sowie in 

ausgeschnittenen Decken.

constructions and cut-out ceilings. 

Sonstige Produktmerkmale 

Auch technisch kann die protection in 

vielen Bereichen punkten. Bis zu vier 

energieeffiziente 54 W T5 Leuchtstofflampen 

sorgen für einen hohen 

Lichtstrom. Dies reduziert die benötigte 

Leuchtenanzahl im Raum, um 

die notwendige Beleuchtungsstärke 

zu erreichen. Der gute Wirkungsgrad 

dieser Leuchtenserie von bis zu � LB = 

66 % hält die Energiekosten im Betrieb 

bei geringen Investitionskosten. Für 

die Planung und den Betrieb von Beleuchtungsanlagen 

ist heute ebenfalls 

der Wartungsfaktor ein wichtiges 

Argument. Die protection erreicht 

problemlos einen hervorragenden 

Leuchtenwartungsfaktor (IP40: LWF Typ 

D; IP54: LWF Typ E). 

Zudem ermöglicht die leicht zu öffnende 

Scheibe mit Abhängung ein einfaches 

Reinigen der Leuchte. Leicht zu reinigen 

ist die Leuchte auch durch die glatte 

Oberfläche, denn ebenso bei der prismierten 

Ausführung liegen die Prismen 

innen. 

Wer eine architektonisch zurückhaltende 

Leuchte mit großem Einsatzspektrum 

sucht, wird bei der neuen protection- 

Einbauleuchte fündig. Die unterschiedlichen 

Bauformen (quadratisch 

und rechteckig) ermöglichen den 

Einsatz in vielfältigen Raumgeometrien. 

Selbstverständlich sind auch zahlreiche 

Modifikationen möglich. Der Einbau in 

unterschiedliche Deckensysteme und 

Multiwatt-Vorschaltgeräte erweitern die 

Einsatzmöglichkeiten weiter. Durch den 

Einsatz von Sensoren und dimmbaren 

Vorschaltgeräten lassen diese Leuchtenserie 

auch für Energieeinsparungsprogramme 

interessant werden.

Those looking for an unobtrusive 

luminaire that subordinates itself to 

the architecture with the advantage 

of a wide application spectrum 

will certainly be satisfied with the 

recessed protection luminaire. The 

two construction designs (square and 

rectangular) allow use within a wide 

variety of room geometries. Of course 

many modifications are also possible. 

Installation in differing ceiling 

systems and Multiwatt ballasts further 

increase application possibilities. With 

the use of sensors and dimmable 

ballasts, this luminaire series also 

becomes interesting for energy-saving 

programmes.

Die Einsatzmöglichkeiten der protection 

sind vielfältig. Die protection 

ist überall dort erste Wahl, wo eine 

optisch zurückhaltende Beleuchtung 

gewünscht wird, ohne dass 

das Deckenbild in irgendeiner Weise 

beeinträchtigt wird. 

Dies gilt gleichermaßen für die 

Allgemeinbeleuchtung in Nebenräumen, 

wie Sozial-, Technik- und 

Lagerräumen, als auch in Verkehrswegen. 

Die diffuse Beleuchtung 

findet auch dort überall Platz, wo 

schattenarmes, diffuses Licht benötigt 

wird, denn die Weichheit des 

Lichts wird im Gesundheitswesen 

für Behandlungszimmer genauso 

gefordert wie in Aufenthaltsräumen 

im Bereich der Altenpflege. 

Doch ebenso in Museen wird eine 

Beleuchtung benötigt, die Objekte 

nicht durch Schattenbildung 

verfälscht oder schwer erkennbar 

macht. 

Zudem kann mit der protection 

auch in Innenräumen eine Lichtsitu- 

ation wie mit einer Tageslichtdecke 

erzeugt werden. 

Die Schutzart IP40 bis IP54 ermöglicht 

auch den Einsatz in Industrie 

und Gewerbe. Sowohl in der Nahrungsmittel- 

und Chemieindustrie 

wird eine hohe Schutzart in Kombination 

mit einem Splitterschutz 

der Lampen gefordert. Ebenso in 

vielen Anwendungen in Reinräumen 

niedriger Kategorie ist eine hohe 

Schutzart gefordert. 

Als Grundbeleuchtung in Shops und 

Vermietungsobjekten ist sie durch 

das neutrale Erscheinungsbild und 

somit der freien Wahl der Zusatz- 

und Inszenierungsbeleuchtung 

gegeben, und dies zu einem interessanten 

Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. 

Application possibilities for protection 

are diverse: the luminaire is 

the first choice wherever optically 

unobtrusive lighting is desired that 

does not infringe on the appearance 

of the ceiling. 

This principle also equally applies to 

general-purpose lighting in ancillary 

rooms such as social rooms, utility 

rooms and storage rooms, and for 

traffic arteries. The diffuse illumination 

of protection can be applied 

wherever low-shadow, diffuse light 

is required – soft shadowing, mellow 

light is needed for applications 

such as for treatment rooms in the 

health sector or for social rooms 

within elderly care. Museums also 

require lighting that avoids falsifying 

exhibits with hard shadows or 

rendering them difficult to recognise. 

Protection is also capable of creating 

light situations for indoor applications 

similar to those achieved by 

daylight ceilings. 

Protection ratings of IP40 to IP54 

enable use for industrial and commercial 

applications. Both the food 

processing industry and the chemical 

industry require a high protection 

rating in combination with 

shatter protection of the lamps. 

Many low category cleanroom applications 

also require high protection 

ratings. 

Because of its neutral appearance 

enabling free selection of supplementary 

and accent lighting, the 

luminaire is also highly suitable for 

general lighting in shops and rented 

spaces, and with an interesting cost/ 

performance ratio as well.

Alle Leuchten erfüllen die 5-Bedingungen. Im Fehlerfall der Leuchte nehmen die Befestigungsflächen keine höhere Temperatur als 180° C an. Sie dürfen auf entflammbare 

Baustoffe nach DIN 4102 mit einer Entzündungstemperatur von mindestens 200° C montiert werden (z.B. Holz). Um Montagefehler zu vermeiden, sind die Montageanleitungen zu 

beachten. Kennzeichnung für wärmegedämmte Decken. Leuchten dürfen mit Dämmmaterial direkt bedeckt werden. 

All nares meet the 5-conditions. In the event of faulty luminaire the fastening surfaces will not be hotter than 180°. They may be mounted on inflammable building materials as

für die 1-Kennzeichnung für unsere Produkte.
