amei Pflanzgefäße sind natürlich schön und außergewöhnlich
robust. Sie bestehen aus dem technisch
anspruchsvollen Verbundstoff Stonefiber – einer Mixtur
aus Polyesterharz und gemahlenem Stein, bei der
zusätzlich eingelegte Stränge aus Fiberglas eine besonders
hohe Stabilität erzielen.
Zum einen faszinieren die amei Töpfe durch ihren
hochwertigen mineralischen Look, der bei den schwarzen
Modellen nach einigen Monaten eine natürliche,
graue Patina entwickelt. Zum anderen ist Stonefiber
stoß- und frostfest. Die Gefäße überstehen somit kleinere
Stürze, das Umkippen bei Sturm und Überwinterungen
im Freien in der Regel unbeschadet. Im direkten
Vergleich zu Stein- oder Tontöpfen punkten sie
wegen der geringeren Materialdicke mit einem deutlich
reduzierten Gewicht, was die Handhabung erleichtert.

Falls Sie die amei Pflanzgefäße draußen verwenden
und sie dort ungeschützt im Regen stehen, bringen
Sie bitte mit der Bohrmaschine und einem handelsüblichen
Steinbohrer Wasserabflusslöcher in den
Topfboden ein, ansonsten droht Wurzelfäule durch
sich im Topf sammelnde Staunässe.

strong. They are made from the technically superior
compound stone fibre – a mixture of polyester resin
and ground stone with additional strands of fibreglass
to ensure particularly good stability.
On the one hand, amei pots are intriguing with their
high-quality, mineral look, – the black models develop
a natural grey patina after a few months. On the other,
the stone fibre is impact- and frost-resistant. The pots
are therefore generally able to withstand small bumps,
falling over in stormy weather and cold winter weather
outside without suffering damage. In comparison with
stone or clay vessels, the thinner material of these pots
leads to a considerable reduction in weight, making
them much easier to handle. In addition to the geometrically
clear designs, the amei collection brings a new
light-hearted and carefree ambience to terraces, balconies
and window boxes – happy pots for happy
gardeners!
If you use amei plant pots in exterior areas with no
protection against rain, please use a standard drill and
auger to create water drainage holes in the bottom
of the pot. If water is left to collect in the pots, root
rot may occur.
