Absolut neu!
Absolut-Encoder von Agilent!
Hintergrundinformationen
zu den Encodern
Bei der AEAS-7 Serie von
Absolut-Encodern handelt
es sich um Bauteile, die für
jede Achsposition des Encoders
ein eindeutiges binäres
„Wort“ generieren.
Durch diese spezielle Funktion
kann der Absolut-Encoder
sofort nach dem
Hochfahren Informationen
zur Achsstellung ausgeben,
im Gegensatz zu inkrementalen
Encodern, die erst
eine Bewegung des
Codewheels benötigen,
bevor sie diese Daten erfassen
können.
Durch die Einführung der
AEAS-7 Serie der Absolut-
Encoder Familie, verfügt
Agilent nun über die komplette
Produktpalette an
Absolut- und Inkremental-
Encodern.
Beschreibung
Die Absolut-Encoder der
AEAS-7 Serie bestehen aus
einer mit einer Linse ausgestatteten
LED- (Light Emitting
Diode) Quelle, einem IC
mit Detektoren und
Ausgangs-Schaltkreisen
sowie einem speziellen
Glas-Codewheel mit mehreren
Spuren, das zwischen
dem Emitter und dem Detektor-IC
rotiert. Diese drei
Hauptkomponenten sind in
einem stabilen Metallgehäuse
untergebracht, welches
wiederum in Lager
eingepaßt ist. So wurde ein
Encoder entwickelt der in
IP-Schutzklassen eingestuft
wurde und auch für
den Einsatz in extrem nassen
oder staubigen Umgebungen
geeignet ist.
AEAS-71AC-XXXXB und
AEAS-72AC-XXXXB
Die Serien AEAS-71AC-
XXXXB und AEAS-72AC-
XXXXB sind mit abgedichteten
Lagern ausgestattet
und entsprechen so einer
IP65-Bewertung. Sie wurden
speziell für den Einsatz
unter extrem rauhen Bedingungen
entwickelt. Beide
Serien verfügen über dieselbe
Auflösungs- (8 Bits
oder 10 Bits) und
Ausgangs-Code-Optionen
(Gray oder binär). Der einzige
Unterschied zwischen
den beiden Serien besteht
in deren Montagemöglichkeiten:
Der AEAS-71AC-XXXXB
hat eine Hohlachse, während
der AEAS-72AC-
XXXXB über eine normale
Achse verfügt. Alle Encoder
Absolute encoder from Agilent!
Encoder background
The AEAS-7series absolute
encoder is a feedback device
that has the capability to
generate an unique binary
‘word’ for each encoder
shaft position. This design
allows the absolute encoder
to provide positional
information instantly upon
power up, unlike incremental
encoders, which need
codewheel movement before
such information can
be provided.
With the release of the
AEAS-7series absolute encoder
family, Agilent Technologies
will now have a
complete product portfolio
of absolute and incremental
encoders.
Part description
AEAS-7series absolute encoders
consists of a lensed
LED (Light Emitting Diode)
source, an integrated circuit
with detectors and output
circuitry, and a special multi-track
glass codewheel
that rotates between the
emitter and detector IC.
These three main components
are contained within
a strong metal housing fitted
with bearings to produce
an IP rated encoder capable
of working in very wet
and dusty conditions.
AEAS-71AC-XXXXB and
AEAS-72AC-XXXXB
The AEAS-71AC-XXXXB
and AEAS-72AC-XXXXB
series are fitted with sealed
bearings to provide an IP65
rating and are specially targeted
towards operating in
harsh environments. Both
these series have the same
resolution (8 bits or 10 bits)
and output code (Gray or
binary) options. The only
difference between the two
series is the mounting option:
The AEAS-71AC-XXXXB
has a hollow shaft option
while the AEAS-72AC-
XXXXB has a normal shaft
option. All encoders from
these series come with a
standard 2m length cable.
AEAS-72AA-XXXXAA
The AEAS-72AA-XXXXAA
series, with an encoder diameter
of 38 mm, is Agilent’s
smallest and most cost effective
absolute encoder
offering. It has a resolution
of 8 bits and Gray code output.
These encoders have a
standard 0.5 m length cable
and can be mounted via the
normal shaft configuration.
