[ 6 ] Ökoprofit City Network Graz - MariborTematske delavnice ter svetovanje v podjetjih so izvedle Ekoprofitsvetovalke iz Maribora: Marjanca Zornik, Tatjana Hakl,Veronika Verdnik in Mojca Žgec. ˇ Zunanje svetovanje in organizacijopodprojekta je prevzelo podjetje Ekos, Tina Poštrak.Uvodno delavnico, kjer smo podjetjem predstavili projekt Ekoprofitin potek njegove izvedbe, je pripravil g. Tomaž Kancler (vice mayorofthe-CityMunicipalityof Maribor)V okviru projekta je bilo izvedenih šest tematskih delavnic:n Metode za trajnostni razvoj podjetij in analiza snovnih tokovn Analiza procesnih stroškovn Energetski managementn Zakonodaja za podjetjan Okoljsko porocilo ˇn Optimizacija ravnanja z odpadkin Nevarni pripravki in kemikalijen Zeleni nakupZadnje delavnice, ki smo jo organizirali v mesecu maju 2012,sta se udeležili tudi predstavnici Urada za okolje iz Obcine ˇGradec.Podjetja so ob koncu podprojekta pripravila nacrt ˇ in izvedboukrepov za izboljšanje stanja ter jih zapisala v okoljskem porocilu.ˇ Rezultate so predstavila predstavnikom Mestne obcine ˇMaribor, Univerze v Mariboru in Štajerske gospodarske zbornice.Podjetja, ki so izkazala napredek pri ravnanju z okoljem,so prejela priznanje »Ekoprofit podjetje«. Priznanje jepridobilo 9 podjetij. Podjetja so svoje dosežke predstavila nazakljucni ˇ prireditvi podprojekta Celovito okoljsko upravljanje vpodjetjih – Ekoprofit, ki je potekala 4. 12. 2012 v Mariboru.Pozdravni govor na prireditvi sta pripravila tudi mag. ChristophHolzner in ga. Claudia Arlak iz Gradca (slika 2).V tabeli 2 so predstavljeni ocenjeni letni prihranki, ki so jih sodelujocapodjetja dosegla z izvedbo ukrepov na posameznihpodrocjih ˇ varstva okolja.THE CITY NETWORK PROJECT, THE SUBPROJECT INTEGRATED ENVIRONMEN-TAL MANAGEMENT FOR COMPANIES– ECOPROFITIn 2009 the cities Maribor and Graz started the CityNetworkproject, which is financed by the Operational Programme Slovenia-Austria2007–<strong>2013</strong>. The project was launched with theintent to improve the existing cooperation between the municipaladministrations of Graz and Maribor and to enable constantcollaboration between the cities by sharing best practiceexamples, especially in the fields of environment and mobility,green surfaces, economy, city development and spatial planning.One of the main aims of the CityNetwork Graz-Maribor projectwas the implementation of the sub project Integrated EnvironmentalManagement for Companies – Ecoprofit in Maribor.Hereby a best practice example was transferred to Mariborfrom Graz, where this project is being successfully implementedfor over twenty years. In Maribor, this project was implementedalready twice – in 2001 and in 2004. Due to theoutstanding effects achieved by the participating companies,the City Municipality of Maribor has been working on a wayto revive the project and therefore the sub project IntegratedEnvironmental Management for Companies – Ecoprofit wasimplemented in 2012 once again.Production and service companies from the Podravje region,which wanted to learn how to increase the environmental effectivenessof their company, lower costs and become recognisedas an environmentally oriented company in Slovenia and abroad,were invited to participate in the sub project IntegratedEnvironmental Management for Companies – Ecoprofit.Project activities were started already in 2011 and workshopsin 2012. The project has ended in December 2012. Table 1shows all participating companies and their fields of work.Thematic workshops and counselling in companies was performedby the following Ecoprofit consultants: MarjancaZornik, Tatjana Hakl, Veronika Verdnik and Mojca Žgec. ˇ Thecompany Ekos and Tina Poštrak were responsible for externalcounselling and organisation of the sub project. ChristophHolzner from the company CPC Austria from Graz, which isresponsible for expanding the project outside the borders ofAustria, carried out the introductory workshop, in which theEcoprofit project and its implementation was presented tothe participating companies.Six thematic workshops have been carried out in the frameworkof the project:n sustainable development methods and material flow analysisn process costs analysisn energy managementn legislation for companiesn environmental reportn waste management optimisation

Furthermore, the companies have presented their resultsto the representatives of the City Municipality of Maribor,the University of Maribor and the Chamber of Commerce andIndustry of Štajerska. Companies, which improved their environmentalmanagement, have been awarded with the “Ecoprofitcompany” certificate. Nine companies were able toacquire this certificate. The companies presented their achievementsat the concluding event of the sub project IntegratedEnvironmental Management for Companies – Ecoprofit,which took place on the 4th of December 2012 in Maribor.The introductory speech was given by Mag. Njihov interes in želja Mestna obcineMaribor je, da bi z nadaljnjim izvajanjem projekta Ekopro-ˇfit v podravski regiji nadaljevali tudi v prihodnjih letih.Table 2 shows the estimated annual savings, which the participatingcompanies achieved with the implementation of themeasures in individual fields of environmental protection.After the sub-project has been concluded an evaluation wasmade which showed that the participating companies werevery satisfied with the workshops and with the organisation ofthe project.
