Die Konsortialführunghält die Stadt Graz, die Projektleitung liegt bei der Stadtbaudirektion.Die Stadt Graz bietet höchste Lebensqualität und viele attraktiveStandortfaktoren, welche unter anderem zu einem überdurchschnittlichen,anhaltenden Bevölkerungszuzug führen.Auch die ortsansässigen Betriebe stellen einen bedeutendenEinfluss auf die Standortattraktivität der Stadt dar. Allerdingshat Graz aufgrund der geographischen Beckenlage seit Jahrenmit Grenzwert überschreitenden Feinstaubemissionen zukämpfen, der Siedlungsraum wiederum ist durch attraktiveGrünzüge klar begrenzt. Thelocal companies, for their part, also have a significant impact onthe attractiveness of Graz as a site. However, Graz is geographicallylocated in a basin. Therefore, the city has had to struggle againstPM10 emissions exceeding the limits for many years. Furthermore,the space available for settlement is clearly limited by attractivegreen areas. Under aspects of growth, in particular, the topics ofclimate protection, emissions,mobility and consumptionof building land are specialchallenges for the city developmentof Graz and are alsoincreasingly being followedwith increased attention bythe population of Graz.The ECOPROFIT Companiesof Graz also are part of a positivecity development.
