Nachhaltige Produkte 2016
Produkte und Prozesslösungen, die einen Beitrag zu
einer nachhaltigen Entwicklung leisten, sind fester
Bestandteil unseres Sortiments.
BF Textile. Aus diesem Grund wird in 2017 mit dem
Rollout der Bewertung in der CHT Gruppe begonnen,
um auch die Lokalsortimente einer Nachhaltigkeitsbewertung
zu unterziehen.
Die CHT Gruppe hat 2016 entschieden, dass alle
Sortimente und Produktgruppe weltweit anhand der
gleichen Nachhaltigkeitskriterien bewertet werden
(siehe Nachhaltigkeitsbericht 2014, S. 44). Nur so
lassen sich klare und einheitliche Zuordnungen und
Entscheidungen treffen.
einzeln diskutiert. Dieser entscheidet
Sustainable products in 2016
Products and process solutions contributing to a
sustainable development are an integral part of our
product range. Our declared aim is to continuously
increase the share of sustainable products. By
the end of 2016, CHT Germany GmbH and CHT
Switzerland AG have checked the sustainability
criteria of more than 4,000 products (all business
fields). The test criteria are listed in the Sustainability
Report 2014 (p. 44). The product range of CHT
Switzerland AG was evaluated by the end of 2016.
This evaluation aims at defining a sustainable core
range per business field which can be marketed
worldwide. The achieved targets in 2015 and 2016
refer to the sales generated by CHT Germany
GmbH and CHT Switzerland AG (BF Textile and BF
Textile Care). The target for 2020, however, refers
to the complete worldwide CHT Group including
BF Textile. The roll-out of the rating within the CHT
Group therefore starts in 2017 in order rate the
sustainability of the local ranges, too.
In 2016, the CHT Group decided to rate all worldwide
ranges and product groups according to the same
sustainability criteria (see Sustainability Report 2014,
p. 44). This is the only way to make clear and uniform
assignments and decisions.
Nevertheless, CHT will stick to the bluesign ®
approval for all of the important products in the
Business Field Textile as this certification was
introduced to the customers on the market and is
therefore recognised.
The CHT criteria are applied for the internal control
of the range and the corresponding chemical raw
materials in use.
By means of these criteria the steering board
individually discusses products which cannot be
clearly rated. The steering board decides on the
sustainability status of the products. In 2016, the
über den Nachhaltigkeitsstatus der Produkte. 2016
wurde der Status für folgende Textilprodukte der
Nachhaltigkeitsstatus durch den Lenkungsausschuss
entschieden: PAFIX No1 (phenolfreies Färbereihilfsmittel),
SiO2 bzw.
steering board decided on the sustainability status
of the following textile products: PAFIX No1 (phenolfree
dyeing auxiliary), print pastes containing SiO2
resp. TiO2 and aqueous enzyme formulations.
As of 2017, every new product already gets a
sustainability rating when it is created in the system.
For product developments sustainability criteria
are additionally valid, so that all future products will
supplement the sustainable product range. We are
working on a implementing a process which enforces
a reduction of unsustainable products. This way, we
could avoid an increasingly complex range.
The Business Field General Industries offers
With its sustainable product range the Business Field
Textile focuses on the following application fields:
Fluorocarbon chemistry (FC chemistry)
The CHT Group decided upon its position in the
field of FC chemistry as follows: As soon as a legal
application prohibition for FC containing products
has been fixed, the CHT Group obliges itself to a
worldwide abandoning of FC chemistry at least two
years before the prohibition entries into force. Up
to such a legal decision, however, products based
on FC C6 will be offered only if they serve explicitly
the protection of humans and the environment.
