Der erste DVS-Praxisworkshop fand in diesem<br />
Jahr vom 10. bis 11. März bei der Firma<br />
Alexander Binzel Schweisstechnik GmbH &<br />
Co. KG in Buseck, nahe Gießen, statt. 21<br />
Studierende interessierten sich für das Unternehmen,<br />
das sich auf die Entwicklung und<br />
Produktion von Schutzgas-Schweiß- und<br />
Schneidbrennern für die Verfahren MIG /<br />
MAG, WIG und Plasma spezialisiert hat und<br />
diese weltweit unter der Marke ABICOR BINZEL<br />
vertreibt.<br />

The first DVS practical workshop took place<br />
from March 10 th to 11 th 2016 at Alexander<br />
Binzel Schweisstechnik GmbH & Co. KG in<br />
Buseck near Giessen. 21 students were interested<br />
in the company that has specialized on<br />
development and production of shielding gas<br />
welding and cutting torches for MIG / MAG,<br />
TIG and plasma processes. The company sells<br />
its products worldwide under the brand<br />
name ABICOR BINZEL.<br />
The workshop included a company tour, the visit of the<br />
inspection and test laboratory “ARCLab” as well as technical<br />
expert presentations. The main focus was on the<br />
demonstrations to implement specific customer requests<br />
in the field of automated welding and the practical testing<br />
of the manual welding torches. Here the participants<br />
were able to try out the augmented reality welding besides<br />
the “real” welding.
