Er gewann zum zweitemal in seiner Karriere nach seinem Sieg 2008 die Phoenix Stakes und schlug dabei acht Gegner mit einer ¾ Länge. Der Sieg am Wochenende katapultierte die Gewinnsumme von Snaefell, der bisher insgesamt acht Rennen gewinnen konnte, auf deutlich über 300.000 €, womit er sich zu einem der besten irischen Sprinter der letzen Jahre entwickelt hat. Snaefell ist ein rechter Bruder der Listenrennen- Siegerin Daganya, die in den Big Shuffle Flying Five (Gruppe II, 1000m) sogar den zweiten Platz belegte. Seine Mutter Sovereign Grace gewann selber Dreijährig eine kleine Prüfung und platzierte in einem Listenrennen. Sie ist die Mutter von 5 individuellen Sieger und Halbschwester des vierfachen Siegers Vivo, der auch über Hürden drei weitere Rennen gewinnen konnte. Snaefell, der zum ersten Mal in der aktuellen Saison Scheuklappen trug, wird nun aller Voraussicht nach seinen nächsten Aufritt Ende August haben, wenn auf dem Curragh die Flying Five Stakes anstehen. I, 1200m) ansteht, den er im Vorjahr gewonnen hatte. Nun fand in Frankreich die Generalprobe statt, und sie hätte nicht eindrucksvoller ausfallen können, denn Regal Parade gewann in Deauville sein zweites Gruppe I-Rennen knapp, aber sicher mit einem Hals gegen die dreijährige Stute Joanna. 16.000gns bezahlte David Nicholls für den Wallach, als er diesen Ende Dreijährig von Scheich Mohammed erwarb, der seinerseits 430.000gns für den Jährling Regal Parade bezahlt hatte.
