Lost and Found
Lost items will be collected and can be
picked up at the lost and found desk
(please follow the signs). Ever item not
picked up until Sunday evening will be
brought to the lost and found bureau
Basel.
Massage
After a long and tiresome race Perskindol
offers a free massage service in the
finishing area.
Medical services
First-aid stations are situated in the finishing
area and along the route. Medical
care is provided by Hirslanden Klinik
Birshof.
Pace makers
Well visible and experienced pace makers
will help you reach the following
finishing times:
Marathon
3:00 | 3:15 | 3:30 | 3:45 | 4:00 | 4:30 | 5:00
Half marathon
1:30 | 1:45 | 2:00
Photo service
Through our official photo partner marathon-photos.com
every racer will have
the possibility to order a souvenir picture
of the race on their website.

Race numbers
Race numbers and starter bags can be
picked up on Saturday before the Manor
Basel Marathon at the runner’s exhibition
in the Shopping Center St. Jakob-Park
(St. Jakob-Strasse 397, 4052 Basel). The
exhibition is open from 10am to 6pm.
More-over, race numbers can be picked
up on the day of the run at the Stadt-
casino Basel on Barfüsserplatz starting at
6.30am.
Refreshments
A variety of refreshment stations are
located along the course and in the finishing
area, catering for the runners’
needs.
Registration and changes
If you have registered already but won’t
be able to attend you can transcribe your
place in the race to another person free
of any charges. It is also possible for you
to change categories – from marathon to
half marathon. When registering via the
datasport homepage you have the possibility
to place a cancellation insurance
for the case of not being able to parti-
cipate.

Starting times and time limits
The marathon and half marathon (in
Freie Strasse) as well as the 1 /6 marathon
(Unterer Rheinweg) start at 8.30am.

WARTET AUF DICH.
The ekiden marathon starts at 11.00am in
Bäumleingasse near Barfüsserplatz.
Time limits are: 5:30 hrs for the marathon,
3:00 hrs for the half marathon and
5:00 for the ekiden marathon.
Time keeping
Datasport will keep your time via an electronic
chip that will be handed out to you
when picking up your race pack. This
chip must be returned after the race (in
the finishing area), otherwise you will be
charged with a CHF 60.– fee. Personal
chips unfortunately cannot be used for
the time keeping.
Toilets
Toilets will be placed along the route
next to every board and refreshment station
as well as in the starting and finishing
area.
Valuables drop
During the race you will have the possibility
to leave your valuables in a secure,
guarded place labelled «Wertsachendepot».
Please note however that due to
a shortage of space only cell phones,
keys and wallets will be accepted. You
will find a labelled bag within your starter
bag to be used to store your valuables
in.
