Sprache<br />
Die Abstracts können in Deutsch oder Englisch verfasst sein.<br />
Format<br />
Der Text soll eineinhalbzeilig und in Times New Roman<br />
Schrifttype (12 Punkt) geschrieben sein. Bitte verwenden sie<br />
keine Trennzeichen am Ende der Zeilen.<br />
Text<br />
Das Abstract sollte folgende Kapitel enthalten: eine einführende<br />
Problemstellung, die Untersuchungsmethode und die<br />
Diskussion der Ergebnisse im Vergleich mit ähnlichen Studien.<br />
Die Untersuchungsergebnisse und deren Diskussion sollten<br />
jedoch inhaltlicher Schwerpunkt des Abstracts sein. Die<br />
Überschriften der einzelnen Kapitel sollten in Großbuchstaben<br />
und linksbündig geschrieben werden. Maximal 250 Wörter,<br />
bitte verwenden Sie keine Grafiken oder Tabellen.<br />
Handschriftliche Abstracts werden nicht akzeptiert. Bitte geben<br />
Sie bekannt, ob Sie ein Referat, eine Posterpräsentation oder<br />
einen Workshop halten wollen.<br />

Ignatius Nascher Preis der Stadt Wien<br />
für Geriatrie<br />
Im Rahmen des <strong>6.</strong> <strong>Wiener</strong> Internationalen <strong>Geriatriekongress</strong>es<br />
wird zum vierten Mal der Ignatius Nascher Preis der Stadt Wien<br />
für Geriatrie durch die amtsführende Stadträtin für Gesundheit<br />
und Spitalswesen verliehen werden.<br />
Der Hauptpreis (7.270 €) ist dem umfassenden Werk eines für<br />
die Geriatrie engagierten Menschen gewidmet. Er wird an eine<br />
durch die Jury nominierte Persönlichkeit vergeben. Die Leistungen<br />
sollen Lehre, Forschung, soziale Projekte und Umsetzungsstrategien<br />
umfassen.<br />
Der Förderpreis (3.635 €) wird für eine besondere wissenschaftliche<br />
Arbeit oder ein innovatives erfolgreiches Projekt aus dem Bereich<br />
der Geriatrie (Gesundheitsförderung, Prävention, Diagnostik,<br />
Therapie, Rehabilitation oder Langzeitpflege) vergeben.<br />

Abstracts of papers can be submitted in English or German.<br />
Format<br />
The text should be single and a half-spaced, with a character size<br />
set at 12 points with a New Roman typeface. Please do not<br />
hyphenate words at the end of lines.<br />
Text<br />
The abstract should include the following sections: an<br />
introduction, a short explanation of processing methods,<br />
results of the study and a discussion of the results in<br />
comparison to other studies. The headings of all paragraphs<br />
must be in full capital letters and lined up against the left<br />
margin. Do not leave a blank line after the heading or between<br />
paragraphs.<br />
Max. 250 words, please do not use any graphs or tables.<br />
Handwriting abstracts will not be accepted.<br />
Please announce your kind of presentation: oral presentation,<br />
poster presentation or workshop.<br />

Ignatius Nascher Prize of the<br />
City of Vienna in Geriatrics<br />
The Ignatius Nascher Prizes in Geriatrics will be awarded by the<br />
City of Vienna for the 4th time during next year’s 6th Viennese<br />
International Geriatrics Conference.<br />
The Lifetime Achievement Award (7.270 €) in Geriatrics will be<br />
awarded to an enthusiastic teacher, outstanding researcher and<br />
compassionate geritrician / gerontologist who has influenced the<br />
geriatric community through his / her work on social projects<br />
and with successful implementation strategies.<br />
The Sponsorship Prize (3.635 €) will be awarded to applicants<br />
who have shown an important scientific contribution to the field<br />
of geriatrics, with a special emphasis on the areas of health<br />
promotion, prevention, diagnostics, therapeutics, rehabilitation<br />
or continued geriatric long-term care.<br />
