Fortescue is proud to
join KMAC and Cimeco in
congratulating Perry Ugle on
his outstanding performance
since he commenced
employment at Solomon.
Perry is regarded as a top
quality Operator and is highly
regarded by all at KMAC.
KMAC and Cimeco acknowledged
their appreciation of Perry’s efforts
by presenting him with the inaugural
George Ranger Award at their prestart
meeting on Wednesday, 28
March 2012.
George Ranger was a Yindjibarndi
elder who passed away in late
2011. The award in his name will be
presented annually to an employee
who exhibits the traits for which
George was well known – a great
attitude, a strong work ethic, safety
awareness and the ability to exert a
positive influence on his team.
The Ranger family is a 50% owner in
KMAC, a civils company providing
services at Solomon.
Perry was gracious in accepting the
award and stated that this would
not have been possible if not for the
support of his supervisors and fellow
employees.
Fortescue would like to encourage
all contractors to celebrate success
among their employees.
