VENUS
VarioLED Flex VENUS TV/SV IP67
VarioLED Flex VENUS is a opal encapsulated IP67 protected
LED light line with a cross section of 20,5 mm 10 mm (Side
View, SV) or 15 mm x 16 mm (Top View, TV) and max. length of
7,405 mm. It can be delivered in length in multiples of 55 mm.
In short, a flexible neon tube with outstanding touch, look,
feel and technical lighting properties. VENUS provides a
lamp life time of over 50,000 hours, glare and dot free LED
illumination, a luminous flux of 428 lumen/meter and a color
rendering (CRI) of more than 85. The product comes in various
color temperatures of 3,000 K, 4,000 K, 4,500 K, 5,700 K, blue,
red, amber and RGB as well as IQ White. VENUS can be used for
manifold in- and outdoor applications from furniture design to
facade illumination. Easy installation and a rugged design for
harsh environments (e. g. resistant to salt water, UV and
solvents) are further outstanding product benefits. VENUS, a
LED Linear Lighting solution merging design and function.

VarioLED Flex VENUS ist eine opal vergossene IP67 geschützte
LED Lichtlinie mit einem Querschnitt von 20,5 mm x 10 mm
(Side Viev, S V) oder 15 mm x 16 mm (Top View, TV) bei einer
maxi malen Länge von 7.405 mm. Sie ist lieferbar in Längen
eines Vielfachen von 55 mm. Kurz gesagt eine flexible Lichtlinie
mit hochwertiger Anmutung und herausragender lichttechnischer
Qualität. Die VENUS bietet bei einer Brennlebensdauer
von 50.000 Stunden punkt- sowie blendfreies LED-Licht,
einen Lichtstrom von 428 Lumen/Meter sowie eine Farbwiedergabe
von Ra 85. Sie ist erhältlich in den Lichtfarben 3.000 K,
4.000 K, 4.500 K, 5.700 K, Blau, Rot, Amber oder RGB sowie IQ
White. Das Produkt ist geeignet für eine Vielzahl von Innen-
und Außen-Applikationen vom Möbeleinbau bis hin zur Fassadenbeleuchtung.
Es besticht durch einfache Installation und
hohe Beständigkeit in rauen klimatischen Bedingungen (Salzwasser-
und UV-beständig). VENUS, eine LED Linear Lichtlinie
mit hohem Anspruch an Design und Funktion.

Jurybegründung
Es ist vor allem die frappierende Gleichmäßigkeit des Lichts
in Kombination mit kleinem Querschnitt und einem hohen
Maß an Flexibilität, die die VarioLED Flex VENUS zu einem
besonderen und innovativen Produkt macht. Im Grunde ein
gestaltungs technisches Halbzeug, ist sie doch gleichzeitig
auch ein fertiges Produkt. Aber gerade diese Eigenschaft der
Lichtlinie ist es, die ihre Faszination ausmacht. Dadurch, dass
sie in unterschiedlichen Längen bis zu siebeneinhalb Metern
als vergossenes, geschütztes Profil angeboten wird, gibt es
hinsichtlich ihrer Verwendung fast keine Einschrän kungen.
Besondere Pluspunkte sind vor dem Hintergrund umwelt technischer
Überlegungen der niedrige Energieverbrauch und die
Lebensdauer der LEDs von 50.000 Stunden!

LED Linear – linear lighting solutions
It is above all the astonishing uniformity of the light in
combination with its small cross section and great flexibility
that makes the VarioLED Flex VENUS a special and innovative
product. In principle it is a semi-finished product in terms
of design, and yet is without doubt a finished unit. And it is
precisely this property of the light line that accounts for
its fascination. Since the luminaires are available in varying
lengths of up to 7.5 meters as a cast, protected profile, there
are hardly any restrictions to its use. The luminaire scores
high as regards eco-friendliness – delivering low energy
consumption levels, and the LEDs function for 50,000 hours.

Die Produkte VarioLED Flex VENUS und VarioLED Flex
PHOBOS sind auch in der Schutzart IP68 lieferbar. Im Vergleich
zur IP67 Ausführung wird das IP68 Produkt mit einseitiger
Kabeleinspeisung geliefert. Kabellänge 5 m mit offenem Ende.
Auch entfällt bei diesem Produkt der schwarze wärmeleitfähige
Verguss.
Auf Grund der Schutzart IP68 ergibt sich an der Seite der
Kabeleinführung eine Dunkelstelle von ca. 10 mm Breite.

The products VarioLED Flex VENUS and VarioLED Flex
PHOBOS are available in IP protection class IP68 as well. In
comparison to the IP67 product the IP68 version is delivered
with a cable feed in on only one side. Cable length 5 m with
open ends. The product will be delivered without the black
heat conductive encapsulation.
Due to the IP68 encapsulation the product will have an
approximately 10 mm wide dark spot on the cable feed in side.
