Melvin Dale Beans - Oracle<br />

Mel Beans has been with Oracle for over 14 years and has held<br />

many jobs within the company. His current role is Principal<br />

Solutions Consultant working with Oracle key strategic ISVs<br />

& OEMs, like MICROS. Mel’s background has been focused<br />

on Oracle market leading database solutions and marketing<br />

Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE), a leading analytics<br />

toolset. An additional role Mel has held with Oracle includes<br />

working fi ve years for Oracle’s Server Technology Division,<br />

which is the development arm for Oracle. Mel currently<br />

sets on many CAB (Customer Advisor Boards) within Oracle<br />

to bring Oracle new and exciting features/ideas from ISVs<br />

& OEMs. A great deal of these features and ideas from ISVs<br />

& OEMs go into the next releases of Oracle products.<br />

John Bell - ARAMARK<br />

As Sr. Technical Analyst for Business and Industry, John Bell<br />

develops retail and payment technology solutions for three<br />

segments of ARAMARK portfolio of services: Business Dining,<br />

Refreshment Services and Facility Services. Business and<br />

Industry encompasses approximately 1,500 employee dining<br />

locations and 45 market centers across North America. John<br />

received his BS degree from Drexel University in 1994.<br />

In 1992, John joined ARAMARK as an intern in the System<br />

Support Services group providing helpdesk support for<br />

propriety systems developed by ARAMARK across 2,500<br />

locations. John has held a variety of positions from helpdesk<br />

intern, Quality Assurance Analyst, Sr. Business Analyst and<br />

current role as Sr. Technical Analyst – Retail Store Systems.<br />

Projects of interest throughout John’s career include:<br />

Lead Support Analyst role for Food Production system<br />

at 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Management of<br />

PC deployment and training for 300+ location Fine Host<br />

acquisition in 2002, Implementation of POS system at 35<br />

location Walt Disney World employee dining facilities<br />

in 1999 and again in 2005 as the Project Leader.<br />

In 2006 John was promoted to his current role in ARAMARK’s<br />

Business and Industry Group where he is currently<br />

responsible for deploying Network Infrastructure and POS<br />

systems across 1,500+ unit Line of Business, managing the<br />

deployment of ARAMARK PCI compliant systems to support<br />

payment card acceptance in three business segments:<br />

Business Dining, Refreshment Services, and Facilities<br />

Services and providing support of processes reviewing<br />

technical services and information security provisions in<br />

contractual agreements with new and existing clients.<br />

Dominic Boff a - ARAMARK<br />

As Chief Information Offi cer and Vice President, Technology<br />

Solutions of ARAMARK Higher Education, Dominic Boff a<br />

develops integrated technology solutions to enhance<br />

the student dining and facilities experience on the over<br />

500 campuses ARAMARK serves across North America.<br />

Boff a is a graduate of the GE Management Development<br />

Institute and GE Management Problems Analysis Program<br />

in quantitative methods. He was a participant in the IBM<br />

Advanced Business Institute workshop in Management of<br />

the Information Systems Resource. In 1993, he established<br />

Infocept Systems, Inc., which specializes in competitive<br />

advantage consulting and systems for small businesses. He is<br />

an industry member of the Food and Hospitality Technology<br />

Advisory Boards and guest lecturer at both Penn State<br />

and the University of Delaware. Dom’s thought leadership<br />

and professional contributions to both Higher Education<br />

and Retail Technology markets have been documented in<br />

such publications as Information Week, NACUBO Business<br />

Offi cer Magazine and University Business Magazine. He<br />

and his family reside in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.<br />
