Visual Presentations
A Visual Presentation (Poster) is a perfect medium for a direct
two way communication with all interested delegates on specific
topics, projects or programmes. Good design is essential to bring
this important part of the Conference to success.
The authors of Visual Presentations are requested to set up their
posters on the allotted boards during registration hours on Sunday
(17 June), or as early as possible on Monday morning (18 June) and
to take them down on Thursday (21 June) after the last Session at
18:30. All Visual Poster Presentations should be presented the full 4
days from Monday through Thursday in the Poster Area. The panel
at your disposal will have a maximum display area measuring
0.85 m wide x 1.20 m high. This allows for posters of up to A0 format
(841 mm x 1189 mm, upright format). The boards will be numbered
according to the Conference Programme.
During Visual Presentation Sessions, authors of posters are
requested to be present at their posters at the time indicated in the
Programme Guide. This will give all Conference delegates the opportunity
for questions and discussion.
The most outstanding Visual Presentations of each topic will be
awarded based on the quality of the contents reported and the quality
of the presentation. The awards will be announced and delivered
as part of the Closing Session on Friday 22 June 2012. The winners
will be invited onstage and the winning posters will be projected.

Delivery of Manuscripts
From Sunday, 17 June, to Thursday, 21 June, there will be a special
counter in the Conference Area for the delivery of manuscripts to be
published in the Conference Proceedings. Opening hours are on
Sunday 14:00 - 18:00, and Monday till Thursday 08:00 - 18:00.
If the manuscript is not available during the Conference, your paper
can not be published in the Proceedings.
Conference Proceedings
The 20th EU BC&E Proceedings on DVD include all full presented
and submitted papers, video files of selected sessions, slide presentations
and poster presentations (where available). It provide an
overview on the global biomass sector, its status and prospects.
The proceedings DVD will be sent after the Conference to all delegates
who registered for a full conference week.
All submitted final papers of plenary, oral and visual presentations
will be published online and coded by a digital identifier (DOI code)
provided by the German National Library of Science and Technology.
This guarantees an unequivocal and permanent identification
and citability of all papers of the Conference Proceedings.
