This is a concept album, based on the Templars' legend, musically reminding of the most legendary Italian
progressive bands of the 70s. The sound is dark and doomy progressive with great hammond organ,
symphonic arrangements, theatrical male/female vocals, deep bass and ritual hypnotic drumming. A really
dramatic opera with an original tragedy's feeling. Limited edition, coming with a 90 pages book "Il labirinto

The CD an "Assault upon the Culture" contains the complete live recording of Aktuals performance in
Music F club, and four demo songs recorded in the Aktual rehearsal room. There is yet another home
recording from 1972 of unfortunately very low quality, which was used as a soundtrack to the silent film
about the Aktual concert in Holubin. From it, only part of the Composition City Of The Aktuals was
selected for this CD. The other songs on the 1972 recording are Coke, Yellow Martian and Rats into the
Breach: higher-quality alternative versions of these have been included on the album. All recordings are
monophonic. All of them are published for the first time, except for the two-minute fragment of the song
"An Assualt Upon The Culture" which appeared on Milan Knizaks album Obrad horici mysli and on the CD
enclosure of the book Alternativni Kultura.

featured fuzzed guitars and effects overdose in a heavy and bluesy over-the-top Krautrock setting, mixing
together genres like no-one else did. One of the finest slabs of eccentric HEAVY KRAUTROCK. 'Simple
Head Phone Mind' (11:56) and title-track 'Vampire State Building' (13:10) are true masterpieces. First time
on CD and an absolute must for every Krautrock fan. Taken from mastertapes + one bonus track, and
informative booklet.
