How do I apply for admission<br />
to <strong>UMUC</strong>?<br />
Go to my.umuc.edu, click “Apply Online,”<br />
then complete your form. Your UserID and<br />
password will be e-mailed to you within<br />
24 hours.<br />
What is an EmplID?<br />
An EmplID is your student identification<br />
number during your studies with <strong>UMUC</strong>.<br />
You will use this number to access the<br />
many services available to you.<br />

GoArmyEd Students: Please note that a<br />
<strong>UMUC</strong> EmplID is different than a<br />
GoArmyEd EmplID. GoArmyEd students<br />
must register for or drop classes through<br />

How do I log in?<br />
Go to my.umuc.edu, enter your UserID and<br />
password, then click “Go.”<br />
How do I get assistance with my<br />
EmplID or password?<br />
1. Go to my.umuc.edu<br />
2. Click “Login Assistant/Password Help”<br />
3. Enter your last name, e-mail address,<br />
and birth date<br />
4. Check what you need: UserID and EmplID<br />
and/or Password and EmplID<br />
5. Click “Submit.”<br />
The information you requested will be sent<br />
to the e-mail address in your records. If<br />
you do not receive the e-mail, check your<br />
junk mail and ensure addresses ending in<br />
“@ed.umuc.edu,” “@europe.umuc.edu,”<br />
and “@umuc.edu” are in your address book<br />
or safe list.<br />
The My<strong>UMUC</strong> student portal gives you secure and<br />
convenient access to online applications, academic records,<br />
and key student services 24 hours a day from anywhere in<br />
the world. Access everything you need from one convenient<br />

How do I change my password?<br />
After logging in to My<strong>UMUC</strong>, click on<br />
“Student Portal” in left menu, then click<br />
“Change My Password.” Enter your current<br />
password, enter your new password twice,<br />
and click “Change Password.”<br />
How do I find the schedule of classes?<br />
From within My<strong>UMUC</strong><br />
In the left menu, click “Student Portal,”<br />
then “MyAcademics,” then “Schedule of<br />
Classes.” Select the submenu item for the<br />
courses you are seeking.<br />
From outside My<strong>UMUC</strong><br />
Go to www.ed.umuc.edu/schedule, click<br />
“Current Class Schedule,” then select the<br />
tab for the courses you are seeking.<br />
How do I register for a class?<br />
Find the five-digit class number from<br />
Schedule of Classes. Log in to My<strong>UMUC</strong><br />
and click Student Portal. Then select<br />
MyAcademics > Registration/Enrollment<br />
> Registration/Enrollment (submenu).<br />
Select the term you want, then click<br />
“Add Classes.” Enter the class number<br />
and click “Submit.”<br />
How do I order books and course<br />
materials?<br />
Student Portal > My Academics<br />
> Registration/Enrollment > Order<br />

How do I drop a class?<br />
Student Portal > My Academics ><br />
Registration/Enrollment > Go to “Select<br />
Term” at the bottom of the screen > Drop/<br />
Update Classes > Select Drop > Submit.<br />

How do I find my library card?<br />
