Council, the 14th Annual Yacht Sales & the Law Seminar was
held on October 7, 2009 at the Sheraton Airport Hotel in Dania.
Following in the long line of successful seminars in the past, this
year’s seminar attracted over 170 industry professionals all eager to
get their fill of information before boat show season. And this year’s
lineup of experienced industry experts didn’t let them down! With topics
ranging from Foreign Flag Issues to Bank Deposits, the day
touched on subjects relevant to the times and what is happening in the
industry now. Everyone that attended, from seasoned industry vets to
new young professionals, learned something new and walked away
with knowledge and tips to carry on into their careers. The day ended
with a cocktail reception and networking hour. Special thanks to Mike
Karcher for moderating the seminar and keeping the day on track!
