Tim Ball’s What Ever team<br />

have won the A grade fi ve-aside<br />

soccer competition for the<br />

second year running.<br />

On fi nals night at Selectrix<br />

Marist Park, What Ever posted<br />

their 15th win from 19 games<br />

beating Young Guns 1-0.<br />

They lost only two games all<br />

season to fi nish on 47 points,<br />

scoring 63 goals and conceding<br />

Barmy Army were the runners-up<br />

on 41 points, with 13<br />

wins, two draws and four loses.<br />

Mic’s Mob fi nished third.<br />

Only one point separated the<br />

top two teams in grades B, C<br />

and D.<br />

That <strong>Te</strong>am took out the B<br />

grade with 33 points, scoring<br />

51 goals and conceding 29 from<br />

10 wins, three draws and six<br />

losses.<br />

Local Heroes claimed the runners-up<br />

spot on goal differential<br />

(13-8) from Hung Like A Horse<br />

after both teams fi nished on 32<br />

points.<br />

Parekaawa won the C grade<br />

with 38 points from 12 wins,<br />

two draws and fi ve losses. They<br />

scored 30 goals and conceded<br />

Phil’s Crew were the runnersup<br />

on 37 points, with Refl ect<br />

The D grade was won by Nice<br />

Buns with 39 points, from CJ’s<br />

on 38, with C Unit third.<br />

Nice Buns recorded 12 wins,<br />

three draws and fi ve losses.<br />

Langman siblings taking to court<br />

Could it be a case of two Langmans better than<br />

one in this year’s Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic<br />

netball team?<br />

For the fi rst time both Laura Langman and her<br />

older sister Jessica will be trialling for the Magic<br />

team at ASB Bank Stadium at the Trust Waikato<br />

<strong>Te</strong> <strong>Awamutu</strong> Events Centre this weekend.<br />

Jessica is a midcourt player back from Canterbury,<br />

now working in Hamilton.<br />
