Odis Orms, wife and children, of the<br />

city, spent several days last week<br />

with Tillman Ridgway and wife.<br />

Mrs. Prudence Armstrong was<br />

surprised Xmas day by some of her<br />

children gathering with a full basket<br />

of something good to eat. Some of<br />

the children did not get to come as<br />

they were on the other side of the<br />

high water. May you have many<br />

more Xmas surprises.<br />

Ed Bridwell and family spent a day<br />

the past week with Clay Whitledge<br />

and family.<br />

James Simmons is quite ill. He is<br />

getting weaker every day.<br />

Strauss Hall and Mrs. Kate Hall,<br />

Howard Hardin and wife, and Hugh<br />

Hall visited friends near Taylorsville<br />
